As with all injuries, you must first identify exactly what it is that is "broken." What you are sad about, what you are angry about, what you are afraid of. Then you carefully find a way to deal with each separate part of how you feel, and move forward from it.

First you need to understand that if it is not your fault then you can't fix it.Let the person who broke your know how you feel and try to find out from the person who made all that why he/she did it.Know it's always meant to be that way don't and sometimes it's good that you experience those at an earlier stage because it makes you stronger. An Optimist would say this is a college of true life.Ask about the mistakes that you might have done to a person so you'll understand why they broke your heart.

learn from it
own up to how you may have contributed to issues in the relationship
understand that this person may have potential
but chose to behave the way that they did
then move on sista move on

It is not easy but you can just try not to think about it. make yourself busy in job, house hold works or in friends circle (real or online)...

You are 20 years old, your heart is not broken,
it is merely a small crack, from use.

Hopefully you will have many of those as you
learn how to love and grow, learn what you need
and what you want.

You will appreciate the small cracks over time,
they make you who you are.

Takes out a needle and thread.... but for severe heart breaks, you need drywall screws and a screw gun and a little plaster mud... easy peasy....

In all honesty I'm not quite sure what the answer is.

But I do know you'll look back one day and wonder what all the fuss was about, that's even if you look back at all.

Good luck, love, peace and happiness to you
