santa's sleigh is on it's way

Last Year...
The activity caused a snow-slide that wrecked my gutters, His sleigh rails ripped my shingles and the ceiling started leaking, He left soot stains all thru the family room, Left a dirty milk glass and cookie plate for me to pick up And tore the top off my old maple tree at the end of the house. This Year... I have a 30/30 with a night vision scope, Gunna bag me a Santa and stock my freezer with some reindeer. |

I stopped into the post office today to buy a book of forever stamps. While I was waiting in line I was looking at all the stuff hanging on the walls. On the end, near the door there was a bulletin board with a sign asking if "Are These Yours?" On it there were a few pairs of sunglasses, a pair of reading glasses and a necklace. What really made me laugh out loud was the fact that there were two, not one but two, sets of car keys with house keys on the rings. How distracted do you have to be to leave your car keys at the post office? What really got me was the fact that it has happened at least twice. I mean, you had the keys in your hand because you used them to get to the post office. You put them down and absent-mindedly forget them. When you go back out to the car, what do you do? Walk home? I know what you're thinking but it has obviously happened twice in one community at a post office that is at a rural location. the other set of keys and they were left hanging in the post office box. and the other half was driving lol |
