My mom's dreams are almost always accurate warnings of things to come.

Mine are not , but sometimes I see it as a sign that I need to give a loved one a call if the dream is about them.

Do your dreams have any meaning to you?

Not really... I had a very strange dream last night that really upset me until I woke up and realized it was so ridiculous it was funny. It did however keep me from having restful sleep.

Mine are either off the wall, or a flash of something in the future, a premonition if you will... other than those few and rare ones, I rarely dream that I know of.

Do You Believe Your Dreams Are A Warning Or A Sign ?

Neither. Both. Depends on the dream.

Most people use their memory when interpreting dreams, as opposed to sitting up and writing down the dream as it is happening.

Memory is a fickle and fascinating thing.

It's not like people have a box in their brain marked "memory" that contains just a bunch of polaroids.

Every time you access your memory, it is influenced by all other memories and thoughts and experiences. Memory isn't an absolute.
There's a lot of bias in dream interpretation.

Do your dreams have any meaning to you?

Only the ones that wake me up at night, and only so far as to figure out how to stop having the ones that wake me up at night.

So far I've learned to stop eating or drinking anything but water (especially avoiding sugar) after about 6 o'clock. Since I started doing that I don't recall any dreams, nor have had any that have woken me up.

My mom's dreams are almost always accurate warnings of things to come.

What kind of dreams are we talking about?
"My mom dreamed Trump would be president the night before the election!"
or
"A stranger named Josef Gimpley living 200 miles away in Fresno California will accidentally swallow boric acid at 10 a.m. Tuesday the 8th of November 2017."
or
People establish patterns. They communicate indirectly. She's learned how often her daughter calls, or emails, or drops by when her life is normal, how that increases/decreases when happy/sad, subtle changes in tone and attitude with problems, over time. All non consciously just through experience. Like being able to judge where to put your hand to catch a ball that some random person threw towards you.
Last night she had a dream that something was troubling her daughter so she called her the next day, and they had a long talk, and it cheered her daughter up who was feeling down.

Yes, I am like your mother, I have warnings dreams, dreams that prepare me for things to come and I am still unsure whether I want these dreams or not.
