I am still grumpy, unhappy and moaning ... especially about the year 2010 I really like it here, made a couple of decent friends. And maybe I found a very special person. But then, I am also suffering from one bad decision in the past, which I utterly regret. Not giving up though

We may not be able to get both, happy and satisfaction. But if asked to vote. I thought about this. Happy because we are satisfied. But in some cases we get satisfaction but not happy. So how can we be happy if we are not satisfied? Or how are we satisfied if we are not happy? And the end I cant choose ️️.. Why so complicated.

When I look back at my life, in all honesty, I have some regret. I just don't believe you can go through a big portion of your life and not regret something. If you don't, it sounds like in your view, you feel you've made no mistakes. You've done everything right. Which makes it sound like you're perfect. Which no one is. We all make mistakes. We all have some regret of something. The stupidity of youth may keep you from regretting some things. But when you get older, some things, for some people, come clear. I know they did for me. So, in a way, yes I'm happy. But at the same time, I could've been happier. and more satisfied.

I'm content (I lived in Missouri for more than a decade). I stopped feeding my stress. Works for me.

I'm happy with life so far but there are so many things I want to experience before I die. Travel and a few more grandkids would be nice. Hoping to find love and someone to grow old with.
