I mean, everything is being changed around.
Old agreements. The Eastern world getting more power and money. How do you see the Occidental world develop from this point onwards? Are the Occidental world at it's end? I mean... Every civilization is bound to end at some point as history is a certain of. But how and when? If at all. |

I see the age of technology as a basic elitist age. The more common of us will successfully be endoctrinated into less human contact and self effort and more reliance on technology and 'artificial intelligence'. I believe the less common and less wealthy will be pushed further down the totem pole of power and the upper echelons further up. We will begin to turn priorities around to value money over people and safety over freedom. The wealthier rungs will get the education and healthcare and reproductive rights, and freedoms we all pretty much assume we should have now and the 'logic' behind the savings on money and the idea of 'merit' will convince most to adopt and agree. I am hoping we will be able to avoid these things and find common 'middle ground' that values these things simultaneously and more equally, but its not looking good from where I perceive it. |

In other words, it's not the brightest of minds that will rule as the pool of people will get smaller and smaller that are able to take a degree.. |

I think modified humans and or animals will present a big problem in the future...there is talk now of modified soldiers already, stronger, faster, smarter for different war efforts...all it would really take is money for any nation or ultra rich person to hire a few bioengineering geniuses...I know they can " custom order" babies before birth now, to give it whatever hair color, eye color and resistance to different genes flaws...if they are telling us this, then others are 20 years ahead of that, since everything starts at the governments and trickles down...

I dont agree, the 1% people move in and out of the 1%, history has proven that.
In America's golden age how many were in the 1%, the Rockefellers, Vanderbilts, Westinghouse etc. In the 1920's known as the roaring 20's saw the rise of the 1% in the 1960's not one black Billionaire skip forward to the new millenium how many billionaires exists today, and how many of them are black, how many of them are from Communist China. how many of the 1% the Rockefellers, Vanderbilts are in the top 100? people come and go in the 1%, yes I know about the The Bilderberg meetings and others like it. In America if one is fortunate and has the skill you can do it and make it into the 1% . |

I believe pathogens still represent our biggest threat ., they are becoming more resistant and with man's greed for resources pathogens that have survived in forests and unexplored areas will be unleashed ..,
And of course there are biochemical agents developed in the laboratories .. a ticking time bomb

My daughter was telling me about a social experiment. She said they put two children on the street asking for money. One was homeless and the other wanted money for make -up. The girl wanting make-up, received the most money. I think it proves that people are sick of the "poor me" that is going on in the world. I think in time things will get better because the strong will survive. Just like mother nature has intended.
Our country is strong but it's clear we have groups trying to destroy it from the inside. They are the ones who talk about other countries like they aren't Americans. |

I dont believe we can measure strictly in dollars when speaking HISTORICALLY about wealth. as the value of dollars have changed and are worth more or less than the same dollars of another age. the millionaires of old, relatively speaking, would still be the 1% relative the the average incomes and wealth of others in the nation. But lets hope the wealthy and powerful dont continue to push down and dehumanize everyone/ de-value everyone else. |
