You are a liberal and want our country to stay in touch times as your own person excuse. My son is invested long term. He is 25 and won't be needing the money for 40 years. His account is up $5500 so far this year. Not bad.

Uh no, you know nothing about me. I call it the way I see it.

I'm rarely wrong, fudged up numbers tell the tale, Russia unloaded 85% of America's foreign debt since APR, you wait and see when China does it. Ouch!

People would have regained all their money in 3 years, if they had left the money in the market, after the crash of 1929.

The key is to not live beyond your means. Stop panicking because you "need" the money. Find another source of income.

Ahahaha!

omg I can't deal with lightweights, good luck waving

The lost decade, remember me

Lightweight? I don't need luck. Markets fluctuate. I have several sources of income and a down market doesn't scare me. Better time to buy.

I dont see how Trump's tariffs are hurting the economy or the tax payers holding the bag?

In the case for farmers, ughhh, dont get me started, how about the government stop giving subsidies to the rich farmers and allow competition allowing smaller farmers to compete, you know get rid of the barrier to entry.

As much as I hate bailouts for everyone, we should start with cutting subsidies to agriculture and abolish the FDR era subsidies program.

The farmers lobby is a powerhouse, they got the first slice

others are starting to line up for funds, Trump fired cannonballs in all directions so there's no time to adjust for the money losing businesses.

What have steel & aluminium tarifs done? increased the prices of homegrown steel, many of whom are pretty close to trump I would imagine with him being in real estate mega projects, it's a money grab pure and simple.

it'll unravel many many other industries just watch, no time to adjust to counter measures.

yes,it HAS driven the price of homegrown steel, and aluminum up,which DOES help the superwealthy people who are the owners of our domestic metal supply industry, but THEY are the ONLY ONES who are benefiting from it!!
for EVERYONE ELSE [I.E. the OTHER 99% off the country],it has had the EXACT OPPOSITE effect!!!

it has driven prices up on the goods we use,and buy every day....
some of the quite substantially, such as new vehicles, whose prices have risen thousands of dollars higher than they were before trump's tafiffs went in to effect.

not to mention the fact that the higher prices on steel/metal have even caused american companies to shut down some of their plants, and move them overseas, such *** harley davidson, who is closing down their kaqnsas city plant, and moving it to thailand, which results in notonly the loss of the tax money the government would gain from that plant, but it also means that THOUSANDS of people who worked at that plant will lose their jobs.

the fishing industry is also taking an extremely big hit due to trump's tariffs, since forgeign countries are now either not buying at all,or are now buying from sources from OUTSIDE of the U.S....

anything that comes in a metal can, such as soft drinks, and also some alcoholic drinks will suffer from the higher price of metal...

airplane manufacturers, such as BOEING will also be taking a big hit due to the higher price of metal,as well as other countries not wanting to pay the higher prices for ttheir planes.which will also cause a drop in the money that their employees who work for them will earn,as well as the taxes that our government will be able to collect from them,as well as from the company...

will THOSE companies/employees be NEXT in line to receive a bailout from the governmenr that the taxpayers will have to shoulder the burden for?
because we will have to be paying for MORE AND MORE to make up for the ones who cant afford to pay their fair share any more due to the trade war that trump is causing with his tariffs.

not to mention the fact that trump has gotten us into a trade war has caused a drop in the stock market, due to investor insecurity about the economy, which will severlely hurt anybody who is invested in the stock market,or has a 401K,which depends on the stability of the stock market,so people's retirement savings will be diminished now, thanks to trump's tariffs.

anybody who says that they cant understand how trumps tariffs are hurting the economy,or the citizens of this country either isnt looking,or dont WANT to know, because the evidence is out there for EVERYONE to plainly see!

Trump needs to stop flexing his muscle at the expense of those of us who are not billionaires. But this is what happens when you let a tycoon lead the common people in a presidency. Trump was born wealthy he probably legitimately gives no thought to how a few hundred or thousand dollars here and there effects the common man's ability to provide.

he is so out of touch with the way that normal people live that he actually said that you need a picture I.D. to buy groceries at one of his pep rallies he has to hold to stroke his huge ego.
[and you can tell that is REALY what he thinks is true!!]

that tells you that he has NEVER gone grocery shopping in his whole life!!!

he is not exactly the type of man that you would rationally want to represent the common man.

if you want somebody who will represent THE TOP 1 PERCENTERS,though,he is DEFINITELY your guy!!
