To lazy to be anything but a racist.

Point finger at Trump supporters.
But no proof of such racism.

TOO LAZY to go clean out their own closet on the left.

Im sick of LAZY opinionators who refuse to report any news that goes against the narrative.
Im sick of racist name calling from race baiters who think Dems are the wonderful people.
Countless examples to the contrary. Leftist propaganda at every turn.
But no one not even here has anything to say about the racist propaganda thrown at conservatives. Even other democrats.

Silence is the ultimate lazy.

State Rep. Bettie Cook Scott allegedly referred to state Rep. Stephanie Chang as “ching-chang” and “the ching-chong” to voters outside polling precincts in Detroit during last Tuesday’s election, the Detroit Metro Time reported.

The paper also said she called one of Chang’s campaign volunteers an “immigrant” and declared “you don’t belong here” and “I want you out of my country.”

news doesn't follow a narrative.
(well, maybe at places like fox 'news' it does.)

honestly, i feel like many trump voters were simply duped.
sure, there are plenty that follow him because of his racist and sexist overtones and his 'their fault not ours' overtones, but generally i think many were coerced and misled down a partisan path, and trump simply saw a tree ripe for his exploitation.

i, for one, have long believed that both parties are wounded, if not utterly corrupt. that's what power does, and that's what power seekers seek.
that's why we, as americans, have a duty to be better educated about our system so as not to be hornswaggled by the carpetbaggers.

it's up to US to open our eyes, educate our minds, and stay abreast of the day's events so that WE, THE PEOPLE, guard our precious freedoms...lest they be lost to those that would abuse them, and us.

veggie beans and rice are not HEALTHY, kids should eat other things as well. but noone here is a dietician so I wont even go into it. Most kids need much more variety for their growth.

Again, no evidence that anything but a rare woman has a kid to just not go to work, raising a kid IS work, especially if one finds themself doing it alone

no one has added 'more welfare' And the welfare programs that are there HAVE made more of a difference than doing nothing. It fed and sheltered more children, and more than likely kept crime down as people dont starve gracefully or see their kids suffer easily.

Im not sure what the first few sentences refer to actually.

but as to the rest, I am not even concerned that news does not report everything all the time, there is no way they could. so they have to choose somehow and they do. There is enough information available for those of us wanting more than the 'spin' to verify other sources and hone the facts down a bit better.

AS to no one identifying individual democrats saying racist things ... well, that may be because it is seen as an individual and not the whole party, (kind of like white crime is seen as individual shortcomings as opposed to the implied cultural problem of blacks with black crime), being the party platform is strongly anti racist.

Its kind of like no one talks about how the well off take advantage of systems for their own profit or cheat and lie even when they are NOT making more jobs in the economy. People take topics that interest them and tend to focus on the perspective that is most valuable to them while discarding other possibilities.

I am not against Trump, personally. Im against him as POTUS. I dont think he has a clue what he is doing EXCEPT in the arena of profiting others like him. I dont think he can possibly represent Americans, as his experience and concerns have never been about any except those in the top tier socio economically. I think he is an embarassment that makes himself appear as if he is incompetent, uneducated, childish and a bully.

I agree. However, I would add that I believe he is going easy on the Russians because he is seeking to do private business with them. I believe he violated US election rules by colluding with the Russians, and that they helped him because they knew that his lack of political experience would make him easier to continue to pull the wool over.

I also believe that Trump actually never wanted the job as POTUS, he just did it to feed his ego. Oh, and had he lost, he would have had 4 more years of ego stroking as he would not have shut up about every little thing he disagreed with the White House doing, doing "I told you so" speeches to the folks he had sucked in during the campaign.

I equate Trump to the kid who ran for High School Class President, on the platform of "no homework on Fridays, and free ice cream with lunch", not thinking through the fact that he could not really follow through on his campaign promises. I mean, Trump is adding to the debt, the road infrastructure is still a non-starter, the health insurance lobby (which shanghaied Obamacare and made it a cash-cow mess) will not release their grip and let him make changes to healthcare, and thankfully the stupid wall idea is going nowhere

Veggies, beans, and rice are healthy. Kids need dary but WIC already provides milk, cheese, juice, peanutbutter, tuna, and eggs.

Welfare has definitely been increased but it hasn't made a difference. The poor won't help themselves. They piss away any opportunity they get. Some people just have no ambition at all. Breeding is all they want to do. Welfare only contributed to the problem. Because then all those kids start running the streets in gangs.

WIC is only for chldren 5 or under and pregnant moms. Kids need more than beans and vegetables.

welfare has definitely NOT been increased in MOST states. as mentioned before the average food benefit is 1.50 per MEAL per person. and the TANF (average cash) has decreased 40 percent in real value in the past two decades.

Veggies, beans, and rice is a very healthy diet. Spinach and broccoli have calcium so milk isn't needed. My dad had a heart attack when I was 6. I lived off veggies, beans, and biscuit. I was very healthy. We had a program several year ago where WIC moms were given vouchers to purchase fresh fruits and veggies from a local farmers market that was started to help them. It only lasted 1 year because they didn't go use the vouchers. The mom's buy chip, pudding cups, frozen pizzas.

yeah, lets allow parents to make their kids food choices regarding if THEY believe vegetarian is whats best for THEIR child, or even if they will allow them some snacks occasionally.

like I said, children should not be made to suffer on such restrictive diets because of a parents temporary financial setback.

Hard times encourage a person to work for things they want. When I was 15 I went to work at a family owned local restaurant. I thought it was great. All the chicken fingers, fries, and icecream I wanted. My healthy diet went to crap. Welfare isn't for treats. It's to get by. The people I work with mainly talk about Dr bills or dentist. My 1st day the guy sitting across from me ate a peanut butter sandwich and grapes. I brought a peanut butter sandwich also. Funny huh? Working people eating what welfare people deem as not good enough.

you continually speak to one thing (your hatred of those abusing the 'welfare system'), while seeming to ignore (or at least talking past) that it was created for a reason.
some would even say that it is a very christian approach to dealing with certain societal problems.

i think many are just driving themselves nuts over it.

there will always be abuses in any system; people are flawed.
while dispicable, i find it less dispicable that poor, downtrodden, and/or ignorant people will sometimes abuse the system than when wealthy, powerful, and/or selfish people abuse the systems we share as americans.
they know better, it costs us all a lot more, and they're usually screaming hypocrosies towards those leff fortunate or powerful all the while.

that's what should REALLY infuriate us all.

One of our students told us they dont have a refrigerator. Most of the kids in our district dont see any fruit other than what gets served at school lunch:
apple
orange
banana

so they go nuts when they see me with grapes, peach, plum. Some dont know what a plum/peach is. Those things are expensive especially if you've no fridge.

Our kids volunteer at a food bank and see the fruits that go thru there. Usually its bruised and ready to rot. I bet that stuff doesnt get picked to go home with mom and her fridge free home.

Im so grateful I can afford the kind of fruit I like and the fridge to keep it in. Its so foreign to me to not have those things, but when I was younger I lived on a bag of apples, and popcorn for groceries. I didnt even know about food stamps back then. Back then I wasnt thinking of saving up for more apples, or ooo. cheese. I was thinkin, rent, utilities, credit cards, in that order, so if someone offered me a luxury like pudding (calcium btw) I probly woulda used it to self medicate. lol.
Lets be real, if youre depressed do you think salad, or chocolate?

I find people who work or have needed and used the system seem to be much more humane about these things than others who assume what everyone else can or should have. Few people ONLY work, and few people have NO snacks or treats in their home. And many who receive food stamps ARE also working but dont make enough to pay all the other bills and buy food. so I wonder how we would go about marking those who are working and therefore deserve to pick their own diets, from those labeled merely 'parasites' sitting at home who should only have what some taxpayers believe they should have?
