President Trump's approval rating with African Americans hit 31% on Monday. This was a HISTORIC NUMBER!

On Thursday Trump's approval with African Americans jumped again... to 36%

The president's approval is up 19 points since last year at this time.

There's a reason for this. The African American unemployment rate has never been lower thanks to the policies of President Trump.

And this week a recent poll found that black business ownership under President Trump jumped 400% in ONE YEAR!

Black Enterprise reported:

African American business owners are on the rise. According to the Minority 2018 Small Business Trends survey, the number of black-owned small businesses in the U.S. increased by a staggering 400% in a year-over-year time period from 2017 to 2018.

The new survey, which was conducted by Guidant Financial and LendingClub, interviewed more than 2,600 business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. It found that 45% of all small business in the country were owned by minority ethnic groups in 2018. This is a dramatic uptick from 2015 when the total percentage of minority business owners was 15%. The largest minority group of respondents were African American at 19%, followed by Hispanic at 14%, Asian at 8%, and Native American at 4%.

Of the African American small business owners surveyed, 63% identified as men and 38% as women. Most fell between the ages of 40 to 49 with 28%, while 25% were between 50 and 59 years old, and 22% are 30 to 39. The research also showed that the highest volume of African American entrepreneurs lives in Texas, followed by Georgia, California, Florida, and North Carolina.

It looks like Trump and Kanye are winning out.

seems weird, the shifting between the term 'minority' and "African American'

which is one category within the 'minority' description.

Its great if successful small business is growing, and people are trying to start businesses. I will just be interested in data from a source that records actual business ownership instead of a survey or poll.

Id love to see the source and the way they defined their categories.

I know you have to doubt, but it seems pretty self explanatory...

I've seen here in Houston where a lot of hair, nail and beauty accessories are being opened up recently, with lots of barbershops opening as well...

Just check out the Black Chamber of Commerce webs

Why do you find this hard to believe?.. because it is under Trump?

This link seems to go with the op:

http://www.sott.net/article/393941-Under-Trump-black-business-ownership-jumps-400-in-one-year

Unfortunately, those bits that talk about Trump approval in African Americans is not linked to any survey information, nor is the claim of 400% increase in Black businesses.

They do link to the demographic breakdown of African American businesses, like gender, age etc.

so what's your point?

no, not really. it seems like an emotional description that is not fully explained with details.

The survey in question is first of all based on a survey, right? Which means they simply asked people questions and did no actual verification of their answers?

and second there is a mix up in the description because it goes back and forth between blacks and minorities and gives no prior data or link or source for verification.

I find it an accurate reflection possibly of the client base of that firm who were asked questions, but I question whether it actually reflects the reality of the country overall. And the non specificity of interchanging black with minority only makes it more questionable.

You object to more African Americans opening businesses? The new ones I've talked to seem to be pretty tickled about it. You mad that they no longer allow themselves to stay in poverty, and siding with the dems? Suggestion- Move into "Flyover Country", bring your resume' and get ready to go to work.

Most business owners work their ***** off. Especially during the first few years of opening. A 40 hour week seems like a vacation to them. Anybody working that hard feels robbed when most of the profit goes to taxes. Trump tax cuts helped businesses and ambition people see it. No matter what their skin color.

These are hard working people who get up get out and make things happen for themselves
Some do not want to accept that because it makes the others look that much worse. And it goes against their " poor me" gimme gimme gimme agenda

hhmmmm......

so,a for-profit-company that is in the business of trying to sell people small business loans is claiming, without verification, that more black people are applying for small business loans through them,in an effort to entice MORE black people to apply for small business loans through them???
[at probably much higher interests rates than they could get going through a bank!!]

well,then,it MUST BE TRUE,huh?
