Topic: Ice Cold Beer | |

With the heat of Summer upon those of us in
the Northern Hemisphere, it just makes sense to have cold drinks at hand. Yeah, I realize, that I don't partake of alcohol, ANY alcohol.. And, that my title *may* have been 'somewhat' misleading. But, really, would anyone wanna stop along a lonely stretch of Texas highway, at a place called 'Rock's Roadside Lemonade' ? It's friggin' hot! Grab a cold one, and enjoy. |

In Australia even the glasses were in a freezer.
Me, I don't like cold drinks. I remember Indonesians saying Westerners do that and it's very unhealthy as the temperature of your body is then much higher, it's a clash. Too much of a shock. I've always felt that way too. Unpleasant on the stomach. Nevertheless, good luck with your beer sales! I think I'll settle for a soft drink, haha. |

Did somebody mention Beer?

You can have a root beer, ginger beer, kola beer, and plenty of other flavoured non-alco beers for your roadside popsicle stand.
Beer on the rocks doesn't sound right. Beer with a gnome ? Beer Rocks ! Right now in Southern Australia it's about 10 deg.C (bloody cold) and blowing a gale, with occasional rain. Dodgy lemonade from a hot Texas roadside stand of any name sounds enticing. Anyway it's not hot until the bitumen roads melt. |
