Buried a HS bud and a brother-in-law yesterday, have my sis and a niece with CA. Sis won't be to long I'm afraid. Don't know how much to cry or when.

I'll get sad and my eyes get watery here and there when I see something horrible happening or some really bad news. I haven't cried in years. But I'm sure if a relative or friend dies I'll cry. But for most part I try to keep it together and not try not being too emotional.

I believe women ...girls cry more...

becouse we can not hold our feelings in when we are sad & hurt ...

but possibly not all ... but some...
I believe which have heard... we go through stages of emotions ...

first hurt ...
second anger ...
third hopefully move on ...

The five stages, denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance are a part of the framework that makes up our learning to live with the one we lost. They are tools to help us frame and identify what we may be feeling. But they are not stops on some linear timeline in grief.

Here is the grief model we call the 7 Stages of Grief:

SHOCK & DENIAL- You will probably react to learning of the loss with
numbed disbelief. ...
PAIN & GUILT- ...
ANGER & BARGAINING- ...
"DEPRESSION", REFLECTION, LONELINESS- ...
THE UPWARD TURN- ...
RECONSTRUCTION & WORKING THROUGH- ...
ACCEPTANCE & HOPE-

this is not perfect but believe we go through some of these stages that makes us Cry ... a few ways of looking at it ... maybe men have some of these feeling also sometimes ...

or stuck ... which professional help might be needed ...

My running days are over but I'd move out quickly. There are some people you just don't take lightly.......here's one I'd guess!

Nature vs Nurture debate, isn't it, I guess
I favor nurture
Everybody in class will just laugh at you, and call you a cry baby, or words to that effect, and you'll just end up taking stick and getting picked on for it.
That don't seem to happen to lasses as much

Biology/physiology. Women have more estrogen than testosterone, which gives up the ability to empathize and nurture.

The other day I read women cry four times more than men in general.
What’re the reasons?

I think a lot of women are more open with emotions and not hiding it. The only time I saw my father cry, was the day my mother died, and I'm not sure if he had actual tears because he was facing away looking out the window. We all just got home from the hospital and he said, while looking at the backyard, Mom will never see those flowers again. That was the saddest I ever heard him.

biblically speaking ,1 Peter 3:7
Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

aside from that...my latest ex out wrestled me, outsmarted me etc, etc...and she was a few months older than me so i can't blame it on age...

what do they say? the exception proves the rule?

could be something simple like they watch more chick flicks and romantic movies which are geared towards having an emotional response....as an example said ex mentioned above got mad at me when i rented "the notebook" and saw her cry for the first time....
