The first impression is the key to start a new relationship with the other gender. People reject almostly the classic method by greeting and getting boring messages so you have to know the other part particularities and begin with your special way to get distinguished from the other people that may be they have the same target :p as you.

Your profile needs to be completed and contain enough information to attract someone, and in my opinion, several photos and a few lines of text are definitely required, after that I agree what you say in your first contact message is important.

Examples: People who have been married.

Takes someone of the opposite sex to show interest in you.

Plenty of women claim that career, and income mean nothing. Very few women that I've ever met, have proved that to me. Looks, matter also. Being sociable is a big plus. Gotta be able to BS them, and their friends. If you don't sound interesting, you're dead in the water. Better be up on the latest and greatest, and cater to the fickle winds of fashion. Ever hear the term, Grin and bear it? very important to be able to do that.

I just skimmed the surface. There's loads more to it.

Perhaps mens' expectations are different in Tunisia.

Ask couples who've been married for 20 years plus, they have a rough idea on relationships. Had many myself and been married and I'm still clueless. We all understand the basic laws but its deeper than that.
