The cats that I run with are not pets, but more like familiars/friends, and no, not me, but they do attack my boss and most others within their range. laugh

Two of the three cats I have moved in with me after being badly treated and abandoned. Although they are recovering nicely, the large black neutered male called Gomez is still a bit PTSD and will occasionally attack me quite savagely for no apparent reason. He'll start out wanting a stroke and affection, be really happy and purring, then just bite and claw. I think it's that I'm good enough to eat:laughing:. He is actually recovering nicely and is becoming very affectionate but is still a little unpredictable.

Budgies and parrots are very good biters, and vicious if angry.
Cat used to attack in fun. When I stalked it like a cat, it went nuts.
Large pet rocks can be dangerous.

Our cat is a huge male. His paws are massive. One day he was stalking the neighbours little kitty. I told him off. He full on turned on me and I was horrified that my beast of a cat acted so psycho.
We got it all on security camera too.

What we must understand all of the wild cannot ever be tamed and animals can become over stimulated then the instinct of excitement comes in to play and they can do some damage house pets leave a lot to be desired pls dont over stimulate them look for large pupils bared teeth body stalking nostrils flaired grawling deep breathing
I have worked with wild animals and I have alot of respect for all of them teasing gone bad,,,thanks Coldersky :heart_decoration::peace::yin_yang:

I know what Coldersky is talking about. I had a cat i was close to and we would play. Sometimes the play got a little out of hand and I'd get scratched up. It wasn't an angry thing, but I'm used to cats.

Sometimes she'll ambush me when i'm walking thru the house. She'll lay in wait and them rush up behind or from the side and "tag" me w/ her paw.Is it playtime?
When I first rescued her she had been abused and any sort of contact led to "love bites" not breaking the skin and scratches that did.Huge trust issues. I quickly learned that anything over 5 strokes to her body would get a bite or other protest.Lots of purring, build up of energy and then BAM ! I don't seem to get the reaction when stroking the head/ears,just the long side strokes. She's training me.
After a coupla years we're both older and wiser(lol) so we seem to tolerate each other more now.My previous Russian Blue was just the opposite of this American short hair. You couldn't touch Blues tummy but current cat demands it.Go figure.

Our cat tries to get fed 20 times a day. And as there is quite a few people in the household atm he is winning.
This morning he led me to his food bowl, I saw he had been fed, so I stirred his biscuits around a bit and walked away.
He chased me and went for my feet, thankfully his class were not out.
He is a very demanding cat

slightly off topic but 2 more of her behaviors kinda tickle me.She sheds ALOT so I brush her daily and when I use the metal tongs side if the brush along her back she'll "chirp" ,kinda like smoke alarm w/ low battery. The other is "prey chatter" which i hadn't experienced before and thought she was having a seizure soon after first bringing her home.If she sees a spider on the all or fly on the window she'll chatter like she's stuttering.Vet told me is quite common.Who knew? .Funny now but really threw me a curve the first time.Gotta love 'em

The last cat I had, didn't like her tail to be touched. She would growl and then watch out. That was the only cat I knew that was like that.

yes I had a huge German rottweiler named moose and he would constantly challenge me...like an alpha Male type thing. he'd get pretty serious and o would throw him around until he quit. but one day I got out of the shower and my underwear had fallen off the bed so i bent down to get it next thing i know that damn dog had my whole neck in his mouth and every time I tried to move he'd bite I alittle harder and growl.....you know where this is goin...
