It never occurred to me to be anything but real, least not until I started reading others comments about those who do misrepresent themselves. It's much simpler to be who I am, than to keep up with a charade. So yes, I would say I represent myself accurately. Pretty much anything I say in the forums, I would say in the face to face world. If anything, I sometimes refrain from saying something online that I would say in the face to face world because it might be taken wrong, due to the lack of body language in the virtual world. I am not surprised at your comment here. You have a genuiness that is rare and truly precious. I guess that is just the beauty of River   Thank you Ladywind, that means a lot to me. I very much appreciate your kind words.

Me, I am confrontational, but I choose my battles, in a gentle but firm way. I can not be the person who watches injustice, ever. Lying is ridiculous Like River said, it is easier to be yourself. I admire that in you Ladywind. I tend to avoid confrontations. Though on rare occasions when I do become confrontational, it's when I see injustices done to others. I'm just now starting to do the same when it comes to injustices towards me. Like you, I choose wisely, though I'm still more prone to just walk away rather than go to battle, gently or not.

I usually say what I actually think, here as in real life I try to be as honest as possible. Sometimes, I will say more in the forums, especially when someone asks my opinion, than I would in casual conversation in real life. I'm quite outgoing for an introvert and being Irish, I'm remarkably charming in person.

I'm much much much worse offline. Think taking 1000 goody powders with no water. Just being honest. I wouldn't even be allowed on line, much less here. Many Years ago, I was at one time, too wild-silly for most towns, and been told to leave a few that were conservative in the past. Frankfort Michigan was one, Traverse City Michigan, was another one. There were a couple in the outskirts of Chicago. I was never drunk or on drugs. That just wasn't for me, but I'd climb buildings and do other slapstick stuff. This was WAAAY before Parkour as a sport. I also sound like the hick from hell. I have a thick raspy cross accent, Louisiana-Chicago-Alabama-Florida with Russian and Morocco touches now and then. I sound extremely unintelligent,(because I'm not intelligent) and I'm also very slow thinking. (I have tons of time to think before I write here) Funny thing.... I can write similar to Samuel Clemens if I put my mind to pictures, and be channeled... it's weird that it flows, so I have a hard time thinking it's actually me doing it. No thesaurus, nothing. I find this very strange. So it must not be. I refuse to give myself credit. I would if I thought I deserved it. I do like the result though, I can't lie. I NEVER bother people. I let them be. I will help if needed or asked, but disappear immediately after when their head is turned. I'm very scary looking in person also, so I'm amazed that people ask me anything. My life is brutal very very heavy work, very long hours, then sleep, then dream that I'm working even more brutally in my sleep, then I get up and go to work... That's it. There's a reason they call some work soul destroying m8. It erodes your sense of self worth. Just an opinion but maybe the way you see yourself bears little resemblance to the way others see you. Don't sell youself short m8  O.T. yea real me :) |

Others never see me, or see what they must see if spotted. Locking the doors to their cars mostly if I am about. I'm good with that. (smiles gently)
I live by a combination of How to Win Friends and influence people, and the Desiderata, and Art Of War, and a few others geared more to field when I can. All have actually saved this body in many instances here and overseas. That and Shadow-hand. I really shouldn't be here. I'm extremely fortunate to be here, and value every second like no other. This is temporary, and will transit soon, but I gave my word on this job, and it is almost finished. It is/was, the hardest physical job I have ever done or ever will do. Not to mention all the engineering and extremely dangerous. I will be back in the desert soon though. I need that, and looking forward to it. Yes, I cannot not be real. But what side of me comes up most differs per site. Like in real life and some site I'm more about energy work and the spiritual as that is 100% me. I am a Lightworker. Mingle isn't the right place for that.
I remember when I first got here, I came straight from spiritual sites/fora only where there is a real nice, loving vibe. I was shocked about what went on here (at that time it wasn't so great, there was a horrible clique on here). I was truly shocked, reported something, then was told by one of the mods to just grow thicker skin. That's what I've done on here. A bit. |

But I'd say a whole lot more Subtle nuances in meaning and innuendo, and such cannot really be written, so, its hard for that to come through Us I constantly feel I've being, spied on by the kind mse police on here, they're forever, wiping my posts or suspending me, for saying things they don't like, there rules can be intreprated however they like, thus its really completely arbitrary, and akin to a police state They'll probably wipe this ( cue eye roll, wink, sigh, and laugh ) |

Your name says it all and you too have a very cheerful disposition When I first came here to Mingle I felt like a fish in a fish bowl and the thought that someone would even want to read any of my 5700 posts kind of felt like I was being stalked. Even tho I had to start over with a new profile, I’ve been
here since ‘09, I think. The vibe has ebbed and flowed and I find that I kind of morph into the vibe, but still stay true to myself. Always remembering, what you say on the internet stays forever.
