Do you think of your ex- as being a cockroach or a rat?

Well, the San Antonio Zoo agrees with you.

"San Antonio Zoo to feed cockroach or rat named after your ex to animals on Valentine's Day"

If you could, then would you participate in such an event? If so, then why?

What creature would you choose to represent your ex-?

What creature would you feed your "ex"- to?

I would not participate in such an event, or feed any of my ex's to some creature.

laugh laugh I did see where they was doing that, you buy the cockroach to feed the animal and they name it your exes name prior to feeding them...laugh laugh

Hummm honestly nope not at all..

Honestly the ex that I was married too only lives like 10 blocks from me, and we all get together for grand kids ect..And we keep in contact to discuss kids or grand kids from time to time.. That way we both know what the other one knows..

Ex-bf nope not at all.. Those bridges have already been crossed and we have made our peace with each other and moved on...

Depends on which ex.

Based on personality & the Chinese zodiac,
the ex i dated in the 1980s, would be a pig.

I wouldn't name a rat or cockroach after an ex and have a zoo feed it to an animal.

What I might pay admission to is if the zoo made little movies where they build elaborate sets for the animals.

Like make a mini post apocalypse new york city where they send in a snake wearing an eye patch, calling it snake pliskin, and the rat is dressed like a gang member, and they make pchew pchew noises while the snake chases the rat, and there's voice overs for rat/snake interaction.

I'd participate in that.

But surrogate sacrificing animals pretending they're my ex, naw.

No, I would not participate. If people (still) think of their ex in a really bad way they may need some serious therapy to learn to get over and deal with loss and heartbreak.
I feel it's sad that organisations like this zoo are trying to make money out of people's lack of self-worth and inner strength. It's pathetic what they're doing.

I am in therapy already. And it's not because of loss and heartbreak

But yeah, making money out of such a delicate issue, is wrong.

Yep, it's trying to make money out of people's pain, and this endeavour could strengthen their pain and anger.

Sure, why not, it benefits the zoo's animals.
Also, I would not feed my ex to anyone, there is
no-one I want to poison.

Although, the picture of running him through a
food processor first is most appealing ;-)

That's an insult to rats and cockroaches to associate them with my ex-girlfriend.
