i'm drawn to it; plus, i like watching tarot reading on YT and wonder if it's true or not.

Enough people like to believe in it, and allow it, rightly or wrongly, to influence their decisions, that it is a real factor in life.
As for being true or not. personally I think it is pretence at knowing the future. And lacks any real substance in its self.
no one knows the future. It's just playing. Fantasy, utter nonsence. Bolderdash, piffle. Like 99% of everything else people like to believe in. Without any empirical evidence. for example mine for today says. "you will have extraordinary success with technology today" well I'm doing the garden today. am i supposed to see a garden fork as technology? And believe the time of my birth predicted it?

utter nonsence. every time...Believe what you want.

what do you think about astrology?

I think it is delusional significance placed on insignificant events.

Birth is not the beginning of life, conception is.
You were alive about 9 months before you were born.
Birth is merely a change in your environment.

What is the actual date of your conception?
What is your conception sign?
How come this is not tracked?

Puberty is also a life event.
What is the date you entered puberty?
What is your puberty sign?
How come this is not tracked either?

Your reproduction is also a life event.
You might recall the date you actually reproduced but not likely.
What is your reproduction sign?
How come this is not tracked?

I like astrology and it's really accurate. Some people don't 'believe' in it but there's nothing to believe, it's not a religion. It's also not what you find in the tabloids.

It can give better insight in yourself or a partner etc.
You got to look at things other than just the sunsign to get a better understanding. Like someone's Moon, Venus, Mars, and possibly Mercury. And if you want to get deeper, you got to look at other planets, like Pluto, Saturn, houses etc.

I've used it a lot for decades, I enjoy it, and even though my knowledge is limited, it's enough to do something with.

It's okay. It does describe my personalities well (I was born on the cusp), but I will not read a daily or monthly horoscope. I also have an affinity with Chinese astrology.

You obviously know nothing about Astrology. It is the study of the planets and how they effect our lives. Like when there is a full moon, the pull from the moon is greater because it is closer. Astrology is not a Religion of any sorts. You don't have to believe in it but if you would at least learn something about it like reading your Zodiac sign, you might see some similarities in your personal traits. It does get complicated but that doesn't mean it has no merit. Be kind and considerate towards other people. Religion has no real basis, but people want to believe in it because of the mystery surrounding it and also because people thing everybody must believe in it therefore it must be true or something to it, but it just got a foot hold centuries ago when society was totally ignorant to beliefs of any kind and didn't question truths or proof. So beliefs and the dramatic acts ran rampid.

Astrology is a farce. The moon, being so close to the earth, barely affects human animals. How celestial bodies in the sky are arranged at differing points in the year would have 0 influence, given they're millions of light years away.
When I was much younger, teenage to early 20's, I was definitely naïve enough to think it had some bearing. As an adult, thankfully that naivete has fallen to the wayside.

I totally agree. I put a lot of trust in astrology in matters of love and relationships. I have my reasons. And according to experiences, I must say, it's very very interesting and very accurate. Everyone can try and see for themselves.

The “fullness” of the Moon has nothing to do with how close it is to Earth. The Moon appears “full” when its ecliptic longitude differs from that of the Sun by 180 degrees.

To illustrate the phenomenon even more vividly, take a peep at the planets through a telescope if you get a chance. They can, despite their great distance, appear to be “full” or less so depending on their ecliptic longitudes relative to the ecliptic longitude of the Sun.

given they're millions of light years away.

Do you know how far a light year is??? 6 trillion miles so millions of light years away would put any thing outside of the milky way galaxy.

I’m curious about Pillar 43 at Gobekli Tepe.
