Topic: coronavirus /alone

I hear that people say they are staying home alone because of this virus. I hear the same people say they are living with a spouse/partner, and maybe kids. I'm interested in knowing, how many people live completely alone? That is me. Do you like that? What are your thoughts?

I currently live alone. I think its better to live alone during these times. Less chance of getting infected or infecting someone else

you can find a way to live alone just. make sure to reach out to friends for you and family to know you are okay. Just remember that the virus is definitely affecting everyone around the world so just remember that you are definitely not alone with your fears of this virus and we will make it through this.

Well, I live alone and I don't have any friends. I see that most people do online chats and talk on the phone.

I am staying with 2 couples.. so I still feels like living alone with them during this lockdown period

I spend some time driving my car around town. I'm watching tv and movies. Cleaning the house.

I live alone but my gf comes to see me. My kids all do weekly wellness checks too. My health has been deteriorating over the last 10 years or so. I'm already pretty used to stay at home lifestyle, alone. With my health as it is, if I contract this disease I'm dead, so why worry about it. I take precautions and follow guidelines. I'm very careful when I go to the store. Hospital is merely three blocks away and I know to go get checked if I feel worse or have any signs.

I can go out when I want, but don't have contact with anyone. I wash my hands all the time, even after just getting my mail.

I'm perfectly comfortable staying home alone. I don't have to get dressed. Nobody takes the last beer in the fridge. And I have complete control over the remote.

i can't stay home. my company is essential services and i gotta keep the fleet running. but they do mostly leave me alone in the shop while i'm doing it

Other than the animals, i live alone. Our 'shelter in place' order expires Friday. However, masks are a still a requirement in many places here. Since the savants in power, weren't specific in their wording, as to type of masks required, I wore my Crash Bandicoot (Halloween) mask on my evening roadtrip. Sorry... I'm not burning up gas mask filters for roadtrips i don't exit my car.

i mostly live alone as well it kind of gets to me but is something i have to get used to or numb to the voices sort to speak. i kind of miss having a chance to talk to others but in the long run i know i'll mostly be alone so yeah to that end i am content.

Almost everything I do is based on being alone. I write poetry alone, I study the stars alone, I detail cars alone. I do go ghost hunting with my sisters though but what ghost will mess with me when I have those weapons with me?

It doesn't bother me to be alone. I usually prefer it. I stay home for days at a time, but I can go out for walks when I want, or go for a drive.

of course it bothers me. but you are probably handling the loneliness ok. here in Puerto Rico we have been on FULL LOCKDOWN since before my birthday mar 13 everyday from 7pm to 5 am and while it hurts very much, I don't want to be responsible for someone dying or getting hurt by my need for contact. have lost faith in finding someone, every time I say this may be the 1, reality hit's me in the face and reminds me where i'm logged into!
