I scored a large bottle of the original and discontinued Calvin (dark blue bottle) from back in the 80s.
It is a very complicated fragrance -starts off smelling like blueberries and then you get waves/layers of other very different scents -very unique -best ever.
No worries about it weakening -it has the longest sillage ever -could use backing down a notch. If you get it on clothing it literally survives washing and drying. If I use more than the slightest bit it is overwhelming, so have to be careful.

I have no reason to wear it out in the world, so I use it for aromatherapy.

:p

I tried some Tom Ford in an airport and thought it was fantastic ,When I went to pay I found it was £178 , I thought it said £17.80
I nearly passed out , needless to say I did not buy it

ya some are ridiculous expensive I find if you look at ingredients in that tom ford you may find a cheap brand with similar

Did you have to mention Avon? Now I got "An Englishman in New York" by 10CC in my head and I never fancied the song. ohwell

Howard Johnson is moving his bowels... spock
...
Lock up your daughters, Avon crawling (WTF does that mean?) what

Street alligators, big Anglophile...
Will navigate us...

What on earth is that song about?

You can find it sometimes on ebay -the smaller bottles are affordable, the 3.4 oz are going for 200-400+ now (glad I got mine when relatively cheap)
