My sister asked me to write my father's obituary for the paper. I don't know if I can do it. I'm the youngest in the family, but my sister thinks I know more than anyone.

I had a funeral director ask me questions and I just gave him the information. It was definately hard to do and I was in shock but did the best I could. Thinking of you and best of luck

My deepest condolences cat. I know how you must feel. I felt the same when my parents passed away. You have friends here who will help you through it.

We can't help grieving, but live well so you can tell him all about it when you see him again! I found it helpful to read about others' experiences. Grief can affect us in unexpected ways.

Sorry for your loss Cat. It happens to all of us, I've lost both my parents in the last 4 years.
