Outside of politic, and religion,
I think many might agree, that 2020...
Well, has been different.

In hindsight, how do you see the year 2020?

Yes, it has been different. Though in many ways, I see 2020 as being a blessing in disguise. An opportunity to step out of the darkest and into the light. A chance to slow down and re-access life, our own individual affairs, as well as community and global affairs. A stronger push from the Universe to move humanity from an ego centered existence to an even higher level of conscious awareness, one that focuses on the greater good of all... or at least setting the stage to make it even more possible to connect with that energy, cosmically speaking, to move from 3rd and 4th dimensional existence to 5th dimensional existence.

I don't see life or the World ever going back to what was, nor do I desire it to do so. I see hardship and struggle in those I encounter that still hold that hope for things to return to normal, to hold on to what was, rather than embrace what is and what's yet to come. I see peace and ease, a more loving nature, in those who go with the flow of our evolution.

For me personally, it has been a positive year. I've sat in darkest for quite a few years, and it sure feels good to return to the light.

My heart goes out to all those who suffered this past year, and to those who lost loved ones.

Totally agree. And from what I understand, all that was also the reason for this to happen.

Yes, I agree and believe that to be true. And tomorrow is the Great Conjunction, I'm really excited. I'll be doing a ritual to embrace the energies even more. But, that's another topic. :)

Yep. I've been wondering if that's why I feel sleepy, haha. Great you're doing a ritual tomorrow! I'm doing a Solstice Zoom with Diana Cooper around 5 PM UK time.

Cool! Yep, I've been sleepy as well. I slept 8 hours last night, I normally don't sleep more than 6 or 6 and a half hours. And I've falling asleep twice this past week while taking a bath, haha.

Good to know I'm not the only one and that the solstice is likely the reason. I suppose we're already taking in the high incoming energies. BTW also had difficulty falling asleep the last 3-4 days which is unusual for me.

My 70th year on the planet ,I had planned a birthday party in Ireland with my kids, grandkids , sisters and more ,all cancelled
I had a whole series of holidays booked ,all cancelled and months spent chasing the money ,I became scared of using my free bus pass or even driving to different towns , I live on a holiday home park in the countryside so got plenty of sun and cycling done, I play acoustic guitars ,I did learn a lot of new complicated music, in all probably the worst year of my life

This has been a year that I have been isolated more than I ever have been and I am learning that I don't like being alone as much as I have been. I am glad I have a job to go to so that I can see people!

Over-all not much changed for me.
My stereo and computer went belly-up but I was planning to do a replacement this year anyway.
The hurricane and subsequent loss of power required a major food replacement I wasn't expecting.
The VA slammed me with a lump sum bill which caught me off guard.
My health continues to deteriorate. Arthritis has reared its ugly head in my hands and feet.

Got a stimulus check from the government.
I made some new friends.
My gf and I have a closer relationship.
I got a visit from my daughter.
I got a visit from my oldest son, middle son and 4 of my grandchildren.
I helped my youngest son build a go-kart for my grandson.
All my kids are still working.
Nobody I know personally has contracted covid.
Local flea markets have greater selection, got some great deals on boxes of DVDs and CDs.

Having been disabled and secluded for over 10 years now there hasn't been much change in my social life. I was socially distanced long before covid hit the scene.

All in all it hasn't been a bad year but not an exceptionally good year either. Its average.

I know many people who were adversely affected by the pandemic restrictions. There's lots of people hurting in ways they have trouble dealing with.
If my life circumstances were different, I would probably be hurting too (altho, fleet truck mechanic jobs are still fairly secure).
I can see the stress in people a bit easier this year.
I hope 2021 is better for people but it is going to start bad.

2020 is the biggest joke since Target Canada. This whole year has been kind of like a broken-down haunted house. A total $#@& show. This is one for the history books.
In all honesty, can't say I'll miss it.

It was the worst of times, it was the best of times. The winter of our despair but the autumn of unexpected bonuses. Had a severe illness, was messed up for months. Can't go anywhere I want or have much fun cuz covid, the overhyped flu from hell. But on the bright side I made a fortune on bitcoin so it was not all bad.

Europe is off limits, many destinations require a lengthy (2 weeks) quarantine after you arrive. Or at minimum, a covid test just before you arrive and masks etc after you arrive. Masks have been proven to be ineffective but lets not listen to science, lets listen to politicians or tv doctors. Same thing.
