A recent German study has shown that zero healthy kids between the ages of 5-11 have died from COVID.

For all children the risk of death is 3 per 1,000,000 if they don't have an underlying health condition.....or 0.0003%.

Why hasn't the CDC done such a study and if they have why haven't they reported the results?

Some Democrat governors are suddenly easing restrictions claiming "science" is the reason. That may be true but it seems they aren't using medical science....it seems they are using political science after seeing poll numbers before the upcoming midterm elections. If these governors, and state legislators, were using actual medical science/studies and mental health studies they wouldn't leave it up to "local" school boards to mandate mask wearing by children......they would outlaw mask mandates for the least vulnerable population.

several school districts have made masking optional. after students confronted the administration with medical facts of dangers involved with masking

Frankly I don't believe anything the CDC, Who or Fauchi say anymore . their constant confusing directions has alienated alot of prople.
This is what happens when a administration does not speak in one consistent voice to its people.

Good one! Yeah, it's frustrating when new information leads the authorities to change their directions. Things were easier when we had the President who didn't like scaring people, so suggested drinking bleach, and taking his favorite drugs to treat Covid, like ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine. and he forbid the CDC from contradicting him and rejected plans to actually test anybody for viruses, and rejected helping the blue states. Let the Democrats die!

is it a good one Mort? do you think I am the only person who is confused by the ever changing direction of the CDC. WHO , Fauci and the Biden administration. Hell. they can't even agree amongst themselves. so forget about one clear direction to the public.
And you really should stop with the Trump stuff Nort ...he is not in charge and has nothing to do with what goes on between the above 4 entities. It just discounts whatever you say.

Well I, for one am shocked. SHOCKED that different people in a profession can disagree on matters of public policy! Okay, not shocked. What is it you're confused about? Is it the changing guidelines on masks and distancing, and then the lengths of isolating? So you think they should make up their minds and stick to one plan, regardless of what the information tells them? Did you miss that we've had several variants of the virus, so far, that differ in severity and transmissibility?

I think they should speak in one voice. is that too much to comprehend?
even the far left news outlets such as CNN have questioned his administration on the confusion that has bombarded the public.

as we move from pandemic stage to the endemic stage.
more and more of their lies are being exposed. as truths formerly canceled by them, are now being accepted as proven fact in mainstream.
even the CDC has been admitting they lied to the public.

Yeah, I guess having a single health policy spokesperson--someone trained in communication rather than just decades of experience working infectious diseases could probably help craft a more cohesive message. But understand that beside the CDC, there are the dozens if not hundreds of health agencies across the nation. In Florida, for example, the Surgeon General is a political appointee who cannot even admit that vaccines work, and you think you can corale their approach under the same guidelines as the Biden Administration? Good luck with that.

Also, CNN is not a far left network. Just far-left of Fox News, OANN and Newsmax.

its called project management Mort. you have many different entities who report to one person. they meet..they discuss..they then report....thru one persin...in one voice to the public ..in one direction.
As to send....one message
its not a new concept...or a difficult one to understand

even so, CNN has been recently confirming many of the reports from FOX news from over a year ago, that came from some of those dozens, if not hundreds of other health agency's, that CNN had canceled as providing misinformation, as FOX news was reporting it..
because the CDC has since admitted that they lied and use false data under fauci's direction. so they were forced to do so.

OK, I agree. A regular, well-presented, public health message would be nice. Did the disparate health agencies say anything significant that totally contradicted the others? Did ANY of the health agencies advocate for Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine as effective treatments for Covid-19? Sure, President Trump suggested injecting disinfectants and UV light, but hopefully even you guys know to ignore that idiot's health advice.

There you go with Trump again. It's Bidens game. He is the one who ran on a platform that HE not Trump could conquer Covid. He is the one who said that any President who lost as many people as Trump did should be fired ( much more have died under Biden). He is the one who said they didn't see Delta and Omnicron coming and that they were not ready. He is the one who sent out free test kits AFTER the Omnicron wave went thru. He is ( by his own admission) the " buck stops here" President . This is HIS administration for the past year...not Trumps.

What severity would that be exactly?
Death rate is 2%. Meaning 98% recovers.
Currently critical is 0,1%.
That's all worldwide numbers, and those numbers haven't changed for months on end.
You seem to be one of those uninformed people that believe everything they're being spoon-fed without questioning it.

Covid is now the deadliest pandemic in US history, 5.8million people have died worldwide. Who knows what that might be were it not for restrictions and mandates. To minimize this by saying the death rate is only 2% is careless IMO.

with just what the CDC and hospitals in the US are now admitting as to how those death rates were tallied here, over the past 2 years.
I believe the reported death rate to be hyper inflated, compared to the actual direct cause death rate from covid.
I also believe, when the died with covid is subtracted from the caused by covid death rate is exposed,
the actual covid counts will be more in line with the annual flu death rates.
counting people just because they tested positive. is not the same as them dyeing from it.

I wont argue that. just as with people that die with colds.
the difference is the way they are being registered.
if a person with stage 4 cancer dies with the flu or a cold. cancer is listed as the cause of death.

but here in the US, if they test positive with covid, they are counted as a covid death. I use this as an example, because right there is a family suing the oregon health department for falsifying the death certificate listing the wrong cause of death. their mother did not even have any symptoms of covid
her blood was tested 6 times after death with only 1 possitive hit showing it in her system she died from her stage 4 cancer.and she opted to stop chemo treatment.

in that report 78% of those that died had 4 or more pre-existing illnesses or diseases that they were being treated for at the time of testing positive,
that were more likely to be the cause of actual death, regardless to if the did or did not contract covid.

and I'll remind you, this report just covered those people who had the virus while supposedly under full protection of the vaccines.
you can find online where hospitals were instructed to list any patient admitted to the hospital, that tested positive for covid.
as a covid patient.
regardless the reason they came to the hospital to be treated for.

Hospitals had an obligation to keep all Covid patients isolated so they should treat anyone with Covid as they have Covid. How hospitals and how death certificates counted people are not one in the same. A death certificate has a primary cause and a contributing cause. So a cancer patients primary cause would be cancer with Covid as a contributor.

My point here is that being de-sensitized to the death rate of Covid is not a viewpoint I share.
