I love how your point was proven from the first 2 responses Bart.

Don't want to get the shot? Don't get it. And help reduce the crowding in the shallow end of the gene pool.

Hahaha, you are funny.
It's amazing that people think they're intelligent and don't even get that the words that come over their lips prove the opposite.
This is what you self-proclaimed intelligent people create: judgement, hate, division.
So much for the quality of the gene pool...

Nice to see others agree… Don’t give up on mankind yet . The people of the world that believe in personal freedom and our God given rights outnumber the far left lunatics that want to shove their socialistic values down our throats. The people are waking up to see the shallow disingenuous ways of the powers that be. Joe Biden visited all 3 sites of devastation from 20 years ago and was heckled. Donald Trump visited ground zero and was cheered and honored by first responders. I think people are just Biden their time.

Good to hear! I also think the group of people waking up and beginning to realise what's going on is getting bigger.
Something that's really important is people uniting again, whether having had a V or not.
So I'm happy and grateful to come across someone like that! flowerforyou

I appreciate and understand your concern. If there were no vaccine and no room in hospitals I guess if I was one of the vulnerable unhealthy persons than I would feel helpless. But most people are not vulnerable to needing hospitalization. Many people that have had the virus did not suffer with the symptoms. If you count the millions that have had the virus and the millions that have got the vaccine that should be about 89% of Americans are protected. To demand that everybody fall in line and take what the government orders you to take is absurd. I will say it again. If you have had the vaccine you are protected from someone that hasn’t had the vaccine . The vaccine doesn’t guarantee you won’t get covid but it will keep you safe from major sickness or death.

Again you seeing the bigger picture, having common sense, and knowing what you're talking about is such a relief!!!
The world needs more people that think like you, and me cos I'm one of 'em too, hihi.

it’s obvious you are. Proud to stand with you and anybody else that rejects the ‘wokeness that seems to be taking over everything good. It may seem overwhelming at this point but you got to remember the crazier the person and their rhetoric the more papers it sales. That’s why we see so much of it, because it’s shocking compared to the normal way of life . And the way the MSM is nowadays is like shock jocks like howard stern. Not many folks take him seriously.

Thank you!
I don't follow MSM or news much as it's all too easy to get sucked into the judgement and negativity.
I learnt the other day what I already knew, I think everyone who's awake does: the number of people that are instigating all this crap isn't that high. They just got a lot of people working for them. And they do of course have the MSM in their pockets.
But the more people disconnect from that, which is happening like you and me, the less powerful they are.
Oh well... we'll get there!

@bart ... this was your statement ...

“I will say it again. If you have had the vaccine you are protected from someone that hasn’t had the vaccine .”

You should be careful about what you post on social media . You can be held legally liable for posting misinformed health information .

Your statement is completely false .
No vaccine offers 100% protection.
There are break through infections occurring among vaccinated individuals . While vaccines offer protection, they were designed before the arrival of delta . It is believed they still provide some protection but the jury is out on exactly how protective they are against this variant . Both vaccine acquired immunity and natural infection immunity wane over time . It is estimated this is approx 6 to 8 months . Every persons biological immune response is individual , as is the degree of infection they are exposed to .

While it is true the majority of hospital presentations currently are unvaccinated individuals , there are still cases being hospitalised amongst those who have been vaccinated . Likewise , the unvaccinated are vulnerable and have the highest risk of infection from delta .. currently 4 in 5 hospital admissions are unvaccinated against covid .

Babies , children, teenagers , young adults are also included in the hospital presentations , meaning , though delta is of most risk to the elderly and compromised , healthy people in other demographics are not excluded from risk .

How many people here get a flu shot every year? They claim about 50% of the US gets a shot each year, which means about 50% do not. You can still get the flu, you can still spread the flu, if everybody got the flu vaccination there would still be the flu. The covid vaccine is similar, it lessens the symptoms of covid, but if people don't know they have covid they are more likely to spread it. The vaccines may make people safer, or a new mutation could form and things could get a lot worse in a hurry. The vaccine is generally given in 2 doses and they have taken their time to give it to children. Is this is because a single dose would be too dangerous? Or that the body needs to adapt? And after 8 months the effectiveness begans to fall and now they are talking about doing booster shots. Will everybody need 2 shots a year for the rest of time? This isn't the first Corona outbreak, the SARS outbreak in China is basically the same thing. China was very slow to respond and publicise that outbreak similar to the rest of the world to the covid outbreak. However the big difference was they were able to eliminate SARS by having testing stations and quarantines. Thus far we can plan on having covid around much like we have influenza around unless they come up with something much better then these current vaccines and this joke of wearing a mask. You understand if you touch your mask then the contaminates are now sitting right in front of where you breath and it incubates inside the mask? We have been able to for the most part do away with such things as small pox, polio, and other infections. But other things such as influenza and HIV we have only found better ways to live with them. So before people start praising the vaccine just maybe we should let things play out for awhile before we judge the importance of it?

Hi dust waving there is still a lot of contention about boosters .
Development is underway to make the vaccines more effective against delta . It is seeming more likely annual vaccination may be necessary . That is of course dependent on what new variants surface and the risk they represent . In addition , antibiotics and other treatments are also in the pipeline . Development into new therapies to eradicate and treat covid is still underway . For now , we only have what is currently available . Your country is about to head into winter , that will be a true test of just how effective the vaccines are against delta . Winter has just finished in NZ, but for the most part of that we had no known community transmission of delta )or other covid variants) . The recent outbreak here (and in Australia ) has demonstrated how rapid the spread is . Even though we had no covid issues through winter , our hospitals were over capacity and had difficulty coping with other respiratory infections . Had covid also been present , it is difficult to see how our health systems would have coped .

I was trying to point out that a vaccinated person is mostly protected from serious illness if they do contract the virus. I believe I said that later in the same post… but please reread your own post as if you were on the fence about getting a vaccine. If you can still get sick and possibly hospitalized, and you may have to continually get vaccines and then boosters and your still not fully protected not to mention the possibility of an adverse reaction to the vaccine, then why in the hell would anyone want to get a vaccine. The case the Cnc is trying to make for the vaccine isn’t cutting it.

vaccines still reduce the risk of severe infection and death .. the protection from a vaccine will help your immune system react to the virus . It also reduces spread and minimises the likelihood that the virus can mutate into something which can completely bypass antibody detection .

As I said , the covid vaccine is not 100% effective , not too many vaccines are . It still gives you a level of protection that you otherwise would not have . The risk for those unvaccinated is considerably higher than those who have been vaccinated . When someone is vaccinated , there is a lag time before protection kicks in and immunity peaks .. which likely contributes to the break through infections being seen . . A young person in general has a more robust immune response than someone older .. so immunity varies between individuals .. the same is true for vaccination acquired immunity and susceptibility to infection .

No one knows with any certainty what their experience with covid will be . Personally , I would rather support my Immune system as best I can .

As far as boosters and annual vaccination goes .. that has not yet been deemed necessary . Israel are currently conducting a trial of a booster dose to vulnerable elderly , (who may not have had as robust an immune response).

The vaccination programme has been underway for approx 8 months .(in that time more than 5.7 billion doses have been given worldwide still only 30% of the global population ) . Delta happened after the vaccines were produced and remains a bit of a wild card .. if it continues to spread uncontrolled then possibly a booster may be offered . Too soon to know if annual vaccinations will be warranted .

I think we are saying the same thing but for different reasons. Like I said before I’ve been vaccinated. Both shots. I wish anybody that can safely get the vaccine would, but I do not think it should be mandated. As we have alll heard before ‘ my body my choice’.

Pretty sure the micro chips are too small for a magnet to stick to🤣 The guy probably just has sweaty arms. There really is no iron or metal so pretty sure that is just a myth. Mostly they are glycol like antifreeze is made out of. They claim there is no lead or Mercury which was found in many of the vaccines from our childhood, and it would appear they only temporarily change our cells as they lose effectiveness over time. At this point and time it is hard to really believe anything, remember back when they told us how bad butter was and we should all eat margarine until they figured out natural is better than artificial. Or they used to encourage people to take aspirins, but that's a no no now. And now people have used so many antibiotics that they are becoming ineffective and they just are not trying to make new ones. Some countries do have a vaccine made with the virus and if we are all going to get covid anyway it would seem to me that would be a much better tried and tested route to go.

I told people my arm vibrated when I got a text after getting the vaccine, I said that in jest because of all the other absurd misinformation being spread.

"Absurd misinformation" like if you are vaccinated you can not get or spread covid? Or if everyone was vaccinated covid would not exist? Or we won't need vaccine passports?🤣 I think there is BS thrown out by both sides. There is no way to track all the people who have gotten covid, or will get covid, and where they contracted it at. The only "hard facts" are the number of people who die and have an autopsy done, and even that if there is a trace of covid in their system it is listed as the cause, but no doubt the amount of deaths are way higher then in the past. It was said early on it doesn't matter what you do people will second guess it, and there is no way to know how things would turn out on one path once another path has been taken. And shouldn't we be more concerned about Murder Hornets than covid? After all when all the bee's disappear we won't have anything to eat!

Awwww but I wasn't talking about bureaucratic "medical experts" and politicians who will say anything to get everyone vaccinated. Biden said if you get vaccinated you won't get covid, who said in the next breath that unvaccinated people are a threat to vaccinated people and in the next breath say you need a booster shot to be protected...........are those misinformation, lies or just a way to justify a power grab??? Fauci said masks wouldn't work in preventing the spead of covid when the pandemic was in it's infancy, then he eventually contradicted himself and said wearing A (single) mask helped stopped the spread of the virus to saying wearing MORE than one mask would be better than just wearing one....are those misinformation, lies or government job preservation statements?

Biden insulted millions of Americans when he said “If you’re not vaccinated, you’re not nearly as smart as I thought you were,”. Was he including the more than 10,000 NYC school teachers who still aren't vaccinated????

I don't trust the number of "covid" deaths because there is no distinction being made between people dying OF covid and people dying WITH covid. There is a case of a 20 something man in Macomb County, Michigan who shot himself in the head. The CAUSE of death was obvious but since someone in his family had contracted covid he was tested and since he tested positive the coroner HAD to report it as a covid death. The only reason I can think of to include such deaths in the "covid deaths" numbers is to pad the number to make restrictions and mandates more justifiable. I'm not downplaying deaths CAUSED by covid and the number is way too high, I'm just saying I want to know the real number and not a number that's been padded to achieve an agenda.

If you look at the numbers of C than indeed there are way worse things to worry about. But people do not educate themselves, just listen to the news that only mentions how many died which is meaningless if you don't put that in context with the nr of recovered and non-infected healthy people.

And indeed, bees disappearing IS something to worry about, greatly! Yet no one gives a toss and keeps using RoundUp -and other pesticides- which is also something to be seriously concerned about as it's very dangerous for our own health, the planet, plants & animals.
But people prefer to yap about C while there are far more dangerous and bad things going on.

Don't be so certain that it's only honey bees that pollinate. Yellow jackets also go from flower to flower. They don't make honey, but they do come out with pollen on them.
Care to gripe about those who spray dandelions in their yards? Those happen to be one of the early spring flowers. Bees are desperate for early flowers, they're starving.
