Don’t forget About evil Teddy Roosevelt. He probably did more for the environment with his national parks initiative than any other president, he didn’t own slaves , so why remove his statue that has stood in front of the museum of national history for eighty years . Maybe because the liberals in charge of NYC don’t like the idea of a white man on a horse as part of history. While the liberals tear down statues of great leaders. They erect statues of drug dealing thugs. I don’t want these people representing this country. Why would anybody?

Earlier this year the 54th Massachusetts regiment Civil War memorial in Boston was vandalized, damaged and had paint thrown all over it by 100's of Antifa " protesters" protesting the treatment of black slaves. $10,000's in damages.
The 54th Massachusetts regiment was a all black regiment which fought in the Civil war......to free slaves..........

This just shows the mentality and lack of awareness of these self righteous thugs. But it says a lot more about the liberal Democratic Party that support their agenda.

getting back to the OP's question of " does it matter if the person is not of pristine character "
to me there are not many people who have walked this earth of pristine character. so to me. no
but
there are certain character flaws that I can not get over, flaws that in my opinion should disqualify a person from our highest elected position.
the top one being a habitual lier. Now there is no denying that Biden is one and has been caught in many many lies during his political career and there is no end in sight. From his education to stories and tales of things that never happened.
So when you are faced with a person like that ( and we all have in our lives) you can never trust anything coming out of their mouth. When you lose trust, you lose respect.
if Biden was one of your kooky relatives you would just roll your eyes, shake your head and laugh. But he is not, he is the President of the United States and countries and people hang on his every words which unfortunately can not be taken as the truth

Will he run for President again?
It seems the USA needs a leader who will keep red and blue happy. An impossible goal IMO.

What would a good President look like for the few who post here?
Would he or she be moral, young, have integrity , a clean background?
Would it matter if they were pristine in character?
Surely their character and actions would be attacked no matter what they do or say. After all it is politics and everyone has an opinion.

What does your perfect President look like in words?

Or is it it easier to complain rather than contribute? Once I heard that the most intelligent and best leaders do not enter politics because it does not pay enough. Are people electing the power hungry leftovers?

No such person has ever existed.
Not in The U.S.A., nor even in New Zealand.
There will always be dissent.

Here's where we've gotten to. The pot is calling the kettle black, and the kettle is calling the pot black. It's to the point I don't think it matters how much we try to clean either one they will both still be disgustingly filthy. Maybe it's time to throw both of them out and bring in some new cook ware? Personally I liked it when Ross Perot ran as an independent in 1992. His campaign was you need a businessman to run the government like a business. For a 3rd party candidate he did surprisingly well getting over 19million votes or about 17% of the popular vote. A businessman would run the country like a CEO looking at how much money is spent and why. Keep the products that work, get rid of the ones that don't. I believe this is also something many see in Trump. He's been a Democrat, Independent, Reform party, and now Republican. He brings a sense of where is the money going, and what are they doing with it.

The thing is people have a short attention span and a short memory. So 3 years from now could be a long time that brings a lot of changes, Trump could be in prison? Biden could be dead? Who knows. The covid thing is just into it's 2nd year and people are tired of hearing about that, and until someone else dies running from the police BLM isn't making a big scene. If you remember the "tea party" movement the Republicans had going, you know when Sarah Palin was going to lead the party🤣. It ended up dividing the party which is not a good thing because the need to be united in order to have the numbers they need. So have to see if things die down in next couple years, or the put the "my pillow" guy on the ticket. It would be hard to put someone who "lost" back on the ticket, but depending the competition it may be the thing to do. At this point I really don't see any outsiders that would bring enough energy that would revolutionize how things are done. And in the long run the President is more of a spokesperson as the House and Senate can really screw up a Presidents plan.

A few months ago I stopped reading this little Trump rally section (hasn't changed a bit).
I guess Tucker stopped telling you what to say, maybe he lost connection with Q?
Anyhow I sleep better now thinking of the gullibility of my fellow voters.

“How can we understand
Riots by the people for the people
Who are only destroying themselves
And when you see a frightened
Person who is frightened by the
People who are scorching this earth”

I’ll be sleeping better when the republicans win back the senate and the house this November. This will be the first step to bring sanity and ethics back into government. Stop the wave of wokeness and cluelessness that is sweeping over the country . Securing the border and our streets. Reverse the rules put in place by liberal governors and mayors that make our police sitting ducks. Putting education back into our schools and expelling the poison the teachers and their unions are administering to our kids. And finally putting a end to the ridiculous mask and vaccine mandates. When WE get our country heading in the right path again than we can elect a president and Vice President that have our country’s best interest at heart. That is NOT what we have now.

Biden held a 2 hour press conference. Now we are on day 3 of his administration, including press secretary Psaki and V.P Harris going on T.V and trying to explain or spin what came out of Bidens mouth. This happens after every press meeting..his subordinates have to come out and try to explain what he said. Because he us confusing and many times has his facts wrong or makes no sense.
Maybe it would be easier if they just turned the teleprompter around and let us read it for ourselves

50,000 join Trump in Texas for a Save America rally. His support isn’t waining it’s growing. With the slow decay of American values and pride he is a welcome relief from the insanity and wokeness that’s being generated from the corrupt mob running America “ for now” .

Will Trump run again? Don't know, don't care at this point if he runs and the same goes for Biden. I'll do my own research on whoever is running in 2024 and look at the results of the policies they have supported and fought against. Every politician makes promises to get votes that don't align with what they have and have not voted for when in political office.

As far as people who say they won't vote for Trump because he has a big ego...........if you use that same standard to not not vote for someone you'd never vote for most candidates, both Republican and Democrat candidates.

Whether it's Pelosi, Schumer, McConnell and Sanders if it wasn't for power, their perceived self importance and ego none of them would still be in congress. They all have accumulated enough money even without their pensions to live better than probably 99% of Americans. They all claim to care about people but none of them show any desire to leave congress and start or help a non-profit to help the people they say they care about. I'm was no fan of Carter as president but I'm a big fan of what he's done after leaving office with helping Habitat for Humanity.

I think anyone that is "paying attention to alternative media" is aware that there is more going on than "what the mainstream media is telling you". We are in an information war right now. Be careful where you get your information. There is resources out there that will give you hope as to what the future of America will be.

President Trump is needed for our country. Don't let your emotions get the best of you as that is what the media wants to use to influence you to "think how they want you to think".

Politics and Christianity are very important foundations for a relationship. If those 2 values are not in-sync then nothing else really matters. Non-smoking for me is also important too.

If you want to know more and hear more about what is going on behind the scenes within our country, let me know. There is a reason for hope and I strongly believe that our country will soon be better than it ever was before, just be patient.

If cnn goes down in flames, it will. Their ratings are tanking as we speak. These popup news services are taking hold reasonably well. Jeff Zucker resigning is just the start. What has to happen, is sponsorship has to stop sending their dollars to cnn. As much as we don't want to see it, I think a recession will drive them out. Facebook, Spotify, has to watch their investors bail on them first. Change only happens when their dollars start leaving them.

The term, "Dollars talk, BS walks" is going to come into focus soon.
