I think one-sided love is fairly easy. The problem is making that dance where you don't let yourself fall too far, without being sure the other person is falling for you.

And then it takes two to keep it going, and to keep the love maturing and changing over time. That is something that takes time to learn how to do, for many people.

So overall, I would say that love is easier to lose than to create.

I meant it is easy for it to happen.
It can be very hard to live with, unless the other is very sensitive and caring. Even then, it is difficult to endure. (I have been on both sides of one-sided love.)

Love is blind, of you have ever read any of the Xanth books you will undestand that.

To day with TV the net and mags, peoples expectations are unrelistic, so when they enter a relationship,it works during the honeymoon stage, then people become disapointed.

Our culture is a throw away culture, cars homes phones, all are made and your are encouraged to discard after a short time.

Back in other ear's most items were scarse, they were tresured, and carfully mentained, including relationships.

I have no real experince, but i do watch and learn, people put less into relationships because our culture expects people to upgrade offten, it is noiw easy to get a divorce, yet the vows you take when getting married are meant to be till death do us part.

Find the right person for you, love and cherish them, and never fail to let them know just how important they are to you.

Ant way thats my take on the question. leona

I think it's harder to hang onto. I've found love a few times, but hanging onto it has been a different story! Hoping this time will be different. smitten

Love isn't found or hung on to, its felt.
Love can rise and fall within you many time to varried levels but once love is no longer felt at all, it can't be held, only felt again.

Love is a feeling within you.
You can demonstrate your love to another but you can't make them feel your feelings.
If they feel love for you in return, it is always their love they feel, not yours.

The trick is to find someone who demonstrates their love for you effectively and in turn, you demonstrate your love for them effectively.
