i think videochatting with someone is an excellent way to get a better idea what they're like fast! plus you immediately weed out fake profiles, and undesirables. So if anyone wants to videochat with me, i'm totally ok with it!!

It does not immediately weed out those that are fake... I'm sure it gives one more of a idea who that person is or what they look like..

Myself I'm one that will not video chat.. And if that makes one think I'm fake then that is on them..

The site has free e-mails.. in order for members to get to know each other a bit better till they are able to meet..

Myself the reason I prefer not to do the Video chat is because I don't do LDR's only those that are local.. I prefer a face to face meet within a couple weeks..

Hell no i don't video chat. If I want to meet a person I'll ask them to meet at a local restaurant. If they flake out a couple of times then you know their fake.

If they ask to video chat right off the bat then report, block, and move on.

We live in such modern times where the live video chats also might be faked... with fake different face, fake different voice, filters as filters might be for the video picture or for the sound too... Some people sometimes might not be prepared immediately to do this.

I am so ugly my computer refuses to video chat. Seriously, not everyone's computer is set up to do video chat.
