I just want to share my thoughts.
I really really want to meet someone that can give you a reassurance the faithfulness that he can give and

.... specially the way that he can make you feel that you're the only girl in his life. I'm really wondering if there's still a man like these.

Because the fact is, when you do all of those I am surely, that girl will lov3 you more than you've ever known, love you unconditionally and respectfully, treat you better. I know most of the people want to experience this kind of relationship, not only me

I feel after 40 odd years of dating/courting/marriage even, it's just a pipe dream and the real world with all it's villains is very different...

I believe the kind of real love you mention only happens in the movies...

If he doesn't make you feel that you are the only girl in his life, then you are with the wrong guy. If you need reassurances of his loyalty, faithfulness and his constant attention, then he is with the wrong girl in my opinion.

I'm glad you started by saying your taught. The truth is that they're shitty people our there as well as some good me. It is not a guarantee that when you give a certain lady your all, she would reciprocate the gesture. I use to love this certain girl. We dated for 3years and I never cited on her, I gave her my best (although I'm not perfect) fast forward. She opted out of the relationship, no reason, no closure. I later learnt she went off to marry her ex. So my dear, love is a risk.

I think it does happen just not in the perfection we want. Every person on earth makes mistakes. Even the best and lasting relationships involve people who at some point have hurt each other. That's why grace, compassion and forgiveness is so important along with communication and boundaries.

If you know your self worth, you will attract or God will send the type of person with the qualities you are looking for. This means you not being needy or insecure and understanding the role of a woman in a relationship/marriage and you won't h ave to worry about reassurance of faithfulness, constant attention and him making you feel that you re the only girl in his life. Know yourself. Work on your shortcomings and don't settle for less but do not be a prima Donna.
