They say Love is blind, but clearly everyone in love can see. How is that possible?

I think what it means when they say love is blind is that when you’re in love it blinds all other senses especially the mind.

They say Love is blind, but clearly everyone in love can see. How is that possible? Love is blind, is what we call an idiom in the English language, it doesn't mean physical blindness. It's said 'love is blind' because we tend to see only what we want to see in a loving partner, they have our complete trust, and maybe we tolerate far more than we should in a relationship that has really come to end, but we are to 'blind' to see it.

When one falls in love, specific areas of the brain associated with positive emotion, memory and reward are activated. Secretion of dopamine stimulates obsessive pursuit of the love interest. Simultaneously, brain areas related to negative emotions and judgments are deactivated.

They say Love is blind, but clearly everyone in love can see. How is that possible? Love is blind.. ??? Really.. Then how about population growth.... Mostly quality type of love is in DARK (switch off light or deam)

I believe most people who do fall in love and marry have complete trust in their partner, and hope their marriage lasts a lifetime. True love, unconditional love, can be found by searching for it, take your time in getting to know them really well, before making that very big decision in life to marry. Good luck in your search.

Sorry, but I cannot agree with you. I believe most people who do fall in love and marry have complete trust in their partner, and hope their marriage lasts a lifetime. True love, unconditional love, can be found by searching for it, take your time in getting to know them really well, before making that very big decision in life to marry. Good luck in your search. Those people whom fall for love scams. They believe all the sweet talk from con artists online and hand over large sums of money to them. They think they are in love and are to blind to see it for what it is, many are deaf as well to advice from friends and relatives who can see what is happening. Scammers exploit the fact that 'Love is Blind', in their attempts to extort as much money as possible from the victims.
