Don't know about you but.. I'm seeing too many "newbies" with empty profiles and either jumping on other peoples "new member threads" to intro themselves or joining topics while being WAYYYYYY with chit like "hi, I'm new here, looking for love".. It's mind boggling really..

so.. are they all scammers? or are they all that dumb to think they'll find "true love" without divulging a single thing about themselves.. being their profiles are for the most part.. EMPTY!

oh and.. gotta love the "delete my account" threads.. like the website owners are responsible for removing their accounts.. do they want the site to do their laundry too??

I agree, I think we are seeing the results of the loss of many site moderators, they use to guide new members which no longer happens as much as it once did.

My peeve is regarding the recent Avatars that appear instead of a profile photo by many members, they are completely unfunny. I remember back in the day when members were allowed to create their own Avatars, these were at least unique, many were funny and interesting, but sadly I think it got abused and was ultimately stopped. The previous Avatars which just showed a black silhouette of the head of a man or woman dependant upon the member's gender were better in my opinion, if these new ones are supposed to be funny they are lost on me.

Hope Incarceration does not follow all this griping, can I plead the fifth from the UK.

I agree.. those avatars are pretty awful.. and some 'male' ones are associated with female profiles and vica-versa.. someones obviously NOT paying attention

as far as I'm concerned.. we still have the freedom to air our gripes and shouldn't be thrown in jail for it.. although that may be why those in the USA haven't posted yet..

Not exactly a gripe but;

The "ugh, me want woman" neanderthals, and the "lets have ""fun"" pseudo playboys who think that kind of post is going to get them anything other than a hooker or a scammer working in a scammer sweat shop in Cambodia.

The "I love deep intellectual conversations" women whose only conversational skills are "hi, how's your day, lets continue to get to know each other more better on watsapp, google chat, or g mail".

I will admit all those things are annoying, delete my account when the instructions were posted on the thread saying you have to do it yourself yet they still post asking to have their account deleted..

Scammer threads are another.. This is the Internet wake up there are scammers everywhere even in your personal email. Makes me wonder if they respond to those emails..

Another of my pet peeves are even the ones that constantly post just to say that person is deactivated.. Humm they had to do it themselves many do that each time they get off line.. Then many do it to post leading you to their profile so you can find them by their FB etc. Why not let the thread die...

Then you have those that want to post Political responses shshs keep those in the Political Forums. Where they think they know what all is going on in the US but don't even live in it..

Ohh and when you find a thread worth answering you have those that don't just post a few off topic comments they keep it going for a full page.. Reminds me of my shiny penny moments when one can't focus on the Topic

Awe then you have some that want to dissect everything someone says.. As if their experience is way worse.. Or just the ohh mee oohh my post.. wanting others to feel sorry for them.. Makes me want to say suck it up butter cup there are much worse things in life..

as for scammers.. yeah.. I concur.. they're everywhere.. but they really REALLY pizz me off.. like get a real job why don'tcha cuz I ain't sharing any of my hard earned cash with you NOR do I want you fugging up my world cuz you think it's fun to mess with it.. I've had my identity & banking info stolen and it's absolutely no walk in the park trying to get it back from those idiots hands OR having to change everything.. but I guess it's simpler to just sit on their lazy azz's and let their fingers do the walking thru someone elses life cuz they can't make one for themselves.. the disrespectful crud..

Actually a lot of those things use to bug the heck out of me back when I was a mod for we would have to delete like 6-7 post instead of just the main one that started it. Now I just by pass those threads all together..

Scammer threads well now it seems some feel they have to start a new thread about scammers often instead of just posting on the 50 others that are out there.

My pet peeve is seeing so many new profiles with people claiming to live in places that dont even exist.....like Ontario, Ontario or Florida , California!......makes me wonder which scholl these obvious scammer went to ....if at all !!

How about having taken the trouble of making an appointment with the Doctor, weeks in advance....and you show up 10 min earlier to keep it and he only sees you an hour later....Dang!! happened to me two weeks ago .....but I managed to get my afternoon nap in while in the private little examination room ....

how about making an appointment 2 wks in advance, only to arrive 10 mins early to find the office closed AND the lights off.. no call to cancel, no note on the door nothing.. and this after driving for about 20-25 mins to get there in 34C temps with no A/C in the car..
