Saving Private Ryan -only because the girl I was with said I looked like the sniper (Barry Papper) and laughed out loud.

I know the movies not really a romantic comedy, but after she laughed, she realized she liked Barry Pepper and the rest of our date after the movie got romantic.

I am going to catch SO much flak for this one, but The Notebook was a great romantic movie.
*covers head to prepare for the assault on his manhood*

For a funnier romantic comedy, I would pick There's Something About Mary.

I'm with you on that one. I loved the Notebook. So if they want you, they have to get me, too.

Cheers! drinker I'm not normally a fan of romantic comedies either (most are too cliche), so it is definitely a ringing endorsement.
