Do you believe in curses or have you ever cursed someone ???

lol no I am serious I was looking at this website of curses and I was wondering if people really do that ??

I am sure lot's of people do, but I personally don't believe in them and know they wouldn't work on me.

I don't believe in curses, but I'm pretty superstitious sometimes. I think that comes from being a baseball player (can't step on the foul line running out to the field, always have the same exact routine in the batter's box, etc.)
And I feel that a quote from the best show on television (The Office) is appropriate: "I'm not superstitious. I'm just a little stitious." -Michael (the boss)

A curse may also be said to result from a spell or prayer, imprecation or execration, or other imposition by magic or witchcraft, asking that a god, natural force, or spirit bring misfortune to someone. The forms of curses found in various cultures comprise a significant proportion of the study of both folk religion and folklore. This is the Wikpedia definition, for whatever that's worth. I truly believe the others believe in this. I, for one, would never assume that I have any power, or the ability to control a power... that is greater than myself. I control two things... my behavior and the ability to learn new behaviors. I wish I could include my mind, but sadly this is a constant struggle. I'm not supersticious. Or omnipotent... I would have to say yes . I dont know if its curses but its something that has followed me around for years.

There are a few people I would LIKE to put a curse on. But since there is no such thing I will have to be satisfied that eventually they will each have to meet their maker.

Morning Shoes! Is that different from afternoon or evening shoes? I know you've got a lot of shoes, but... Even the bible speaks of how what you speak will happen. you may get a big surprise in how it happens though. Long story, but a lesson I was shown many times before I learned. No offense sage... The Bible says several things that are debatable. Generally speaking... The only person I can curse is myself, through self-fulfilling prophecy. Whether someone wishes it on me, is not too terribly important to that process. |
