Has anyone ever tried these other dating sites. Plentyoffish, mingles, foundyouonline, American Singles, or true. I have a friend who knows alot of sites and never had any luck, has anyone here tried those? Has anyone tried E-Harmony, it takes forever to do a profile and they want you to pay $50 a month and they won't send you a match until they find one. It sounds as if it would be good, but I don't know for $50 a month

it's not worth the $50 bucks a month.....and chances are they will tell you you're not qualified to be on their site. They suck!!!!

E Harmony sucked! I got about 1 match a month, waste of money. Plenty of fish is okay, Singles net is okay, True and American Singles wont leave you alone after to quit! I'm sticking with JSH & Plenty of Fish! Good luck!

I have been on plentyoffish (but I'm banned from that site). I have also been on American singles, true, match.com, E-harmony (I actually was had a paid membership) and a couple others. Talk about seeking realism in a person.. they're out there.. just not quite sure where!

Good luck w/ you search.

When I went to e-harmony and did all that crap, they said they couldn't find my match and said this happens to 20% of the people and 2 weeks later they sent me a match, but I had to sign up to see there photo, that is BULL!

I used e-harmony. HATED it. They decide who you can and can't talk to. I love chatting with anyone. No thanks.

They also would not let me drop the age limit I date. but they'd match me with guys up to 20 years older. no thanks.
I only date younger.

AND when I complained they just gave me a free month. WTH. Who needs an extra month (free or not) with a site you don't like in the first place? laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

And I agree with yellow. I love a place with forums where you get to know a community of people. Nothing better for a whole lot of reasons

I have to say, I met the most remarkable friend ever on E-harmony. He is originally from Australia, but has been in the US for many yrs. Lives right here in my home town and is sensational with my girls. If anything, being on these sites can bring us beautiful people.. maybe one day those of us looking for sometime more real and forever, will be blessed with such!

Most of the sites fake a lot of mail, they will send you fake matches just to get your money, and a lot of money later you figure out you have been scammed.

I found my sweetie here. I would NEVER pay to try to find a date anyhow, I have said it before. But if I wanted to spend money to find a date, I'd go to the bar.drinker drinker

I used to be on Plentyoffish, but I got banned also and then about 6 months later I signed up again and when I tried to log back on I couldn't. my friend had the same problem. They have a flaw in there system I believe, we both have Netscape, and we have talked to other people who have AOL or something else and they have no problems

ohwell ...just my two cents. Been on those sites, most of 'em send you a lot of computer generated replies from people who've never looked at your profile. And the live replies seem mostly to come from Cheboksary, or S. Africa, dating scammers.(explode )
This site is the best one I've found to date, AND you can actually speak with the people here! Have fun!!smokin drinker

Honestly, I think JSH is the best site I've come across! I have been on many, many sites (as a paid member) and still, I find this free site to be sensational. The people here are more social, funny, caring, open-minded, FAR AWAY (as in distance) dammit irad8 (sorry, had to vent for a min.) blushing

If you stick around long enough (and show your fun-filled, as well as your serious sides, you'll enjoy. You'll make wonderful friends and maybe even meet the one you've been searching for!

I prefer this site to POF, I met some of the greatest people here like CyPoet and my friend Justin... I had nothing but problems with POF, rude people and their forums are bland compaired to this one..Of course I met my future husband on Myspace, we are getting married in Korea where we both are going to be stationed in 6 months...I stay on this site for friends and I have a bad forum addiction!!
