Topic: need some serious advice

here is the situation. there is this girl that I went to school with from 1st grade to 7th grade. I had a crush on her back then. I found her a while back on another site. at the time she was involved with someone. since then she has become single. the only contact I have had is through messengers though. should I ask her out? and if so, how do I go about doing it?

The whole cat idea is good, but the coffee thing would prob work too. She's prob not gonna make the first step so you should definitely go for it!!!
