Ok in the past year I've been hittin' the weights hard and have gained a good 35 lbs. muscle so now I'm a good 175, my work out partner was about 190 and now he's like 265 and a monster, benching 400lbs. Is this possible without 'roids.?

very possible. in college i was about 190 when i got back into lifting (had to really cut it back for a while due to a knee and shoulder injury) and i hit 210 in a few weeks, 230 and 7% bodyfat (yeah, that's too low. doc told me to get it up to 12) in a few months. that's only working out 3 to 5 hours per week. my secret...my caloric intake was high, well over 7000/day and most of that was from red meat so i had tons of iron, creatine and protein. at my best i was doing a 5-rep max of 325 and 1-rep max of 375. still taking it easy on that shoulder. my roommate started the same time i did and at the same weight and he never got his 1-rep max past 250. genetics mainly i think.

if you gained 35lbs and are only 175 it sounds like you just just have a small build and will never get very large.

Chocolate in general makes me happy.

yeah the research on women and chocolate has yielded some crazy results. love

i love chocolate but i don't need much to satisfy my craving. i've been eating something chocolate around women and turned down seconds and they all look at me like i'm a terrible guy who just kicked a kitten or something.

they make me die...in theory.

thankfully i'm not as allergic as i used to be so eating a few peanuts accidentally isn't a big deal. i still avoid them though.

Its nice to get compliments, but when its comin from a complete stranger who knows nothin about u, then its obvious to me they have lust on their minds cos all they know about u is how u look.

i think it may just be a legitimate way to break the ice, even if it comes off a bit clumsy or forward. it's not like a face-to-face conversation where you can adjust responses on the fly. you have to get ideas across via text only (and some of these helpful guys...).

one girl had a pic of her classic car up on her her profile and being a car guy, i complimented it. no big deal, no alterior motive.

Is it just me or is your intial reaction when someone leaves you a compliment in your email that they just wanna get in your pants?huh

ohwell huh huh

definitely. compliments are always just an attempt to get sex. a few days ago my friend said my yard was looking good. i had to tell him, "hey man, i only like you as a friend."noway.

i don't know much about little towns but i know there are some seriously hot women in texas and most aren't as stuck-up as some other places. as you said, they're at least willing to talk some instead of just shoving a guy aside if she's not interested.

the idea of a texas section is sort of funny considering the fact that it's larger than most european countries. you can find your perfect match right here in your own state...and still be 800 miles away. laugh slaphead

Hey I just moved from Hesperia Ca
all the way to Stephenville Tx
is there anyone who could, I don't know show me around lol
or maybe hang out with me
....I don't have any friends....
So it would be real nice if someone could help me out on getting to know people.

in a tiny place like that you don't need anyone to show you around. just walk outside, spin around once and you've seen it all. laugh

welcome to texas, where you might hear, "i'm glad it's cooling off lately" if the temp drops to 100....seriously. shades

i have said since 95 i will never buy a new gm car

i'll never buy any car that's model year '96 or later...i can't stand OBD2. i'm not saying it has no advantages at all but imo the drawbacks are too numerous and too significant.

went to six dealers at least they all said the same thing gm will not do it (no wonder they went broke)

try getting them to build a rcsb (regular cab, short bed) silverado with a 5.3L. first they'll say you can get an extended cab witha 4.8 for the same price. true, but when speed is the goal, that's not a better deal. then, when you actually order one with the 5.3L rpo, they whine and jerk you around. that's why my friend walked out of the dealership pissed off a few years ago.

not a bad year....just before cars got completely neutered. too bad they got rid of the dual headlights (2 per side i mean) in 71.

Let me consider the pros and cons....

PROS:

1. Space chicks
2. Zero gravity sex
3. Sports would be much cooler if everyone could jump 50'

they're green...bear that in mind. but as long as you're not a space racist you'd enjoy yourself. happy

And I hate to be the one who has to say it... but! That 88 you're sporting is a poor excuse of a Mustang. That body style just about makes me want to puke. They look like an Escort with a 5.0 shoved under the hood. IMO they're just as bad as riding a moped. Sure it's fun, just don't let your friends catch you doing it...

they aren't pretty but the fox-body mustang was a huge improvement over the mustang II. more rigid, better handling and actually lighter despite being a bit bigger. very easy to modify too.

when i worked for an A/C place i saw a guy cut a finger off with a reciprocating saw and it fell into a flowerbed on the ground (he was on the roof). a coworker and i dug around in the bushes, found it and packed it in ice. we didn't really find it all that gross but a few of the guys got really queasy. good thing he was cutting metal. a wood-cutting blade would have made a much more jagged and nasty wound.

They might be busy doing something else

They might not really be online.

Maybe they just cant be bothered.

Who cares? I dont worry about it. Im probably gonna be the one doing the ignoring anyway.

yeah i leave my stuff on all the time (bad habit i guess) and people will message me thinking i'm actually there then get all pouty when i don't answer.
