Sure, that sort of thing is possible. But it's still more of a fantasy relationship than a real one. If that's enough for them, that's great. I would never be able to be satisfied and fulfilled without touch, smell, seeing, tasting, having him around me etc. I find it hard to not see, feel, smell, touch, taste him for 4 weeks  If I'd never see him, I'd rather find myself someone else. I'm too tactile, cuddly and sexual, sensual. I need the real deal. The thought of being exclusive and never really having intimacy... horrible! To me that's more like an online game you play. Like Second Love, or was it Second Life? But to each their own. If that's enough for people and makes them happy, who am I to judge. You and me both!! They do Second Life, and various other games - but yeah - nothing real. They skype, so they see each other - but they can never touch, taste, feel, smell... It would be torture for me too! |

I only know one thing...
I wish people would calm down. Between hating the police and hating the election results, people are becoming a whole new kind of crazy - and it's scary. I didn't care for either of them, but the election is over - why not hope for the best? What ever happened to peaceful protests? Who thinks anything can get accomplished with one side fighting the other ALL THE TIME? Focus on the real problems, not the people you like/dislike.

I know an online couple that has been together "online" for 8 years and going. She lives in NY and he lives in the UK. They are exclusive, and use gaming and Skype to spend time together. I believe they are in love. No, they don't have to deal with many of the things a traditional couple do, and I agree - much of it is based on fantasy - but I do believe there is some form of love between them. That being said, it's not for me! I think some confuse lust for love, etc --- but technology has changed what's possible. I think.

Believe in all the possibilities of life. Faith in all the things that you wish to happen. Yes, it is possible to fall in love in a dating site and I have friends who found love online.  I agree - to meet someone online takes faith and patience. It can and does happen. |

Nicotine .. I quit "smoking" it - but I still vape it.
Sugar .. I can't seem to quit the sweets. Normal stuff like eating, sleep, breathing Love, in a way - I think I am. I may not "need" it - but I sure want it!

I was not crazy about either candidate - both seemed an embarrassment to our country. Either choice would have left me feeling about the same…. Embarrassed.
That being said – I think the majority of the people who voted for Trump, did so, because they want something to change. So, they looked over all his faults and decided he was the least evil of the two. I hope he does bring jobs back to this country, as promised. We always hope they’ll come thru with their promises, right? Only time will tell. It’s sure to give the late night comedians plenty of material! I voted for neither. |
