Ever since I saw a piece about the Columbian Wandering Spider, I have gone right off  . Those guys aint friendly!! (see Mr Google!)  No way...I hate spiders, so why would I want to look one up??? |

morning Betts Just having my coffee trying to wake up..It was after one before I finally went to sleep last night..too keys up from the show and the tear down was awfull...took us 9 hrs to set up and 2 to break down..it was a mad house. 150 "venders"? One hopes you meant "Vendors" Sorry, I couldn't help myself! Howdy y'all

 No TV ??? No NCIS...No Castle??? I'm rethinking visiting over there! The reason for no TV is because I rent this place & it is owned by the local aerial installer. He will fit up an aerial for me, but it will cost $350. In other words, he wants me to pay him $350 to put an aerial on his house! Currently, there's nowt worth watching & certainly nothing worth that kinda gold!! Actually "sky" will put up an aerial for "free". The catch is that I have to subscribe to them for 6 months @ $100 / month. That's not a go-er either.

hey Ray..how was your Halloween? What did I do Betts??? The retailers here are trying hard to get some traction with Halloween, but it's not something that has had any signicant history in NZ. It is seen as a peculularly US deal. Coming as it does, 5 days before "Guy Fawkes" night, it has a hard row to hoe. Even Guy Fawkes's appeal is flagging. As for myself, I went to bed before the beggars came banging on the door. ( no TV here, why would I stay up?)
