I am sorry for your loss as well (hugs)

We found some little baby birds in the stove fan vent at our house today. Mother had a nest there, didn't know about it till I had some chirping coming from the stove when I was in the kitchen. My grandma, my neighbor and I looked into it, and at first didn't find anything until my neighbor found a nest on the ground by the side of the house outside.

The mother flew away, but left behind 4 teeny tiny little baby birds. Such cute little things, got em in my garage right now in a box with some grass that's inside a second box with grass. My grandma and mom wouldn't let them in the house though, so we'll see what happens. My friend and I were debating having them left out during the day to see if the mother comes back for them, so might try that.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss...

Have you been to Rainbow Bridge yet...you can make a memorial there!

What kind of baby did you have?

What was the name of your lil doll baby?

I have my Ms. Wiggles...I just do not know what I would do without her...she is part Chihuahua and part wire hair terrier...and she knows that she has to have attention 100% of the time!!

She wiggles so much that she goes around and around and around...flowerforyou

She loves her omelets in the morning too!!!

Tell us a story about your sweety!!

I had a dog I saved once.

Someone had attempted to 'put to sleep' a litter of puppies.

She was the only survivor. I found her in an ally with 5 dead puppies. She had a bullit lodged in her skull.

I nursed her back to health but she was never quite all there.

I named her 'bullit'.

She lived 4 years.

Sometimes I really miss her.

That is cute!

Her name was Elise..she was a german shepherd and she was 10. I guess she had cancer of the spleen and was bleeding internally so they couldn't save her. She was a big sweetie and I miss her.

I still have two other dogs, so that is helping a lot right now

About the only story I have is this one....don't know if it will qualify as " cute " or not but I thought it was hilarious....

Jake is my Black Lab and Mongo was my cat.

Mongo was my brother's cat until he found out that my neice is allergic to cats, so Mongo was relegated to being an " outside " cat. Well...it was Winter and I decided to take her home with me. At first...she didn't want to eat cat food. She liked the little yellow bones that were in the dog food I bought for Jake. So she would sit there and dig out the bones, and ONLY the bones and eat those.

Well..I was in the kitchen cooking one day and I heard the cat munching away behind me. I look to my left and I see Jake peering around the corner by the fridge. He's standing there eyeballing the cat. He looked at me, looked back at the cat...and I had a pretty good idea what was coming.

He takes a few steps up behind the cat and the raises his paw and smacks the cat on the back of the head right into the food dish.

I am pretty much falling on the floor laughing.

A few hours later, Jake is laying on the floor in the living room, minding his own business and here comes Mongo strolling along. She walks about halfway past him, and then stopped..looked at the dog, and turned around and POUNCED on his head. She was chewing on his ears, clawing his head...all that stuff. Jake is just laying there not moving, looking at me like " Are ya gonna DO something about this?? "

I was just flat out in TEARS from laughing.
