Sex before marriage...

Do Christians do it? If so, do they consider it to be a sin?

 They're not supposed to, and yep it would be considered a sin.

I confess, I sinned. Worse. I confess I haven't sinned in ages.

i was raised as a catholic

and my dad pointed
out to me
in a relationship
that i was in yrs ago

that living together
was a sin

well in my eyes
its not
for it would determine
if you would want
to get married

well, Id say, if a man takes and clings to one woman, or one woman to one man,, with or without a ceremony or papers,, if their intent and promise to God is to be bound together,, those two having sex is not a sin,,,

the vow before God , imho, makes them husband and wife before God

if they have sex BEFORE The include God in such a vow,, its a sin

I always regardied that rule/church law as man made so I applied my own rule. I never considered sex. Before marriage a sin . There is a loophole, don't get married.

many sinful things are considered 'normal'

or the choice between right and wrong would be much less of a struggle,,,,the conscience and the flesh are often at odds with what is 'right' and what FEELS right,,,

If you are a Christian and you have sex before marriage, it is a sin against your own body. If you are not a Christian then you are already living in sin.

I doubt those who aren't christian are going to consider it living in sin.

That is not surprising because they have not gave their hearts to Jesus. Believers believe the word of God and try to follow God's commands.

huh msharmony, I find nothing in the Bible to support what you said. It appears to me that you are making an excuse for two people having sex with each other without becoming legally married. It is as if you are redefining marriage in order to satisfy one's desire for sex.

huh In your eyes? So, are you using what appeals to your flesh to determine right from wrong?

In the Christian faith, it is sinful for two people who are not legally married to each other to have sexual intercourse with each other.

Sadly, all Christians eventually make the mistake of trying to serve two masters, which is why some make excuses for having sexual intercourse outside of a legal marriage.

Me personally and just my thoughts if you not a true believer you sinnin almost everyday. Me honestly will hate to wait for a woman marry her then have sex and find out she had an open cave down there or it wasnt really worth it... Its just like a car test drive it before you get it to know if thats what you really want.. Just being real ppl will suprise you.. djm
