No When I wanted to know if I looked good in clothes I used to by a bunch of out fits and try them on at home and let my boys be the judge. They were always spot on from eeuw mom that makes you look like a granny, what an ugly dress, thats pretty mom, that makes you look fat to no mom your boobs are sticking out and its too tight or too loose. No lying there.Hey it worked for me and all the ugly stuff got returned. They are still like that and quick to make a comment about my clothes:banana:

I'm a women, and I think it's best to be honest to a women, but if your following the "Happy Wife Happy Life" motto, good luck. Keep your eyes opened, your ears ready to listen, and your heart wide open; because in order to know what to say, you'll have to discover the true meaning behind her questions.

Is it OK to lie to woman?

Should ask your mother rather than strangers.

that she's the prettiest woman you've ever met (while your eyes may disagree)

If your eyes disagree then your more powerful indirect communication is going to offer the truth to the lie of your words.
That is going to send mixed signals creating miscommunication and insecurity. If not immediately then it adds a seed of doubt that will grow the more often you offer contradictory messages.

Other than that, it's generally "ok" in practical reality to lie to women to preserve a positive moment in their emotional fulfillment.

But people generally can't lie all that effectively except to themselves, as their body language tends to send out messages that contradict any lie, or offer enough

If you're in a relationship (as opposed to first couple of dates) with someone that can't tell when you are lying, being disingenuous, it's either because they don't want to, they never cared enough about you to naturally pick up your unconscious driven cues, or you are a sociopath.

One of my favourite books of all time is "Memoirs of a Physician" by V. Veresaev

One of the many questions about the ethics in medicine was how to respond to a terminally ill patient when s/he asks "Doctor, tell me the truth- am i gonna die?"
As a fresh out of medschool he did so.... at first. Which had terrible consequences. patients freaked out, made scenes, accused him of lying and being a fake etc etc the whole works.
So the only way how to survive this question was to understand, what it really means:
"Doctor, I want you to lie to me so convincingly that I won't doubt for a second that you're telling the truth"

So there are certain truths about ourselves that we're not ready to hear. We dont want to hear that we're gonna die and I'm kinda suspicious that we also don't want to hear some other truths that might apply to us- that we're not attractive, not smart,
not tall enough or slim enough, or smth else. For heaven's sake who of us is ready to hear that s/he are old?

Deep down we know what these inconvenient truths are but when someone we're dating suddenly brings up one of these "not ready" truths that we are not ready to face (big time foot in the mouth)... does it not make us want to punish that poor insensitive jerk for "ruining everything" and run away to the opposite direction?

ummmmm, maybe only to a child I would lie about immanent death. Adults can handle that. We all die, no one gets out alive. Most people fight harder to strive to live longer when given such grave news. Doctors generally don't lie about those prognosis, they may be wrong, but it's only their opinion and a good guess.

I am wonderful. I do and say the right thing everytime so there is no need to lie...this type of moral character isn't for everyone, a level achieved by only a few of us...but at night when I lay down to go to sleep and quietly reflect on my day I know all those I came in contact with over the course of the day are better for it....weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

that she's the prettiest woman you've ever met (while your eyes may disagree)
that she looks thinner now (though her new pants are 2 sizes up)
that she looks way younger (only when wearing a scarf)
that her new short hair are the sexiest (though she had long hair almost to the waistline)

To sum it up - do the compliments you (women) hear have to be truth the whole truth and nothing but truth?

Tell her whatever she needs to hear to keep you getting sex. She is not blind or stupid. She knows herself better than anyone. So she is just looking for you to help her with her insecurities.
