I know this is far off for me to say (about 10 years away) but I don't really want to turn 40. Generation X wasn't made to age, were we? Seriously, can I just have the wisdom from getting older? Spare me all the crapola I'm going to have to live through and just give me the knowledge. I don't wanna work for it anymore. I wanna explore the planet without people telling me every decade is a milestone.
Why do I have to turn 40? This is a travesty.

What's your problem with it anyways? I was happy when I turned 40! Really, truly happy, cos I'd never felt that good in my life before! And it only got better after that to be honest... It's all about how you feel on the inside. Okay, if the outside still looks okay, that helps a lot as well, lol. But really, what's the problem with it?? And why make your life miserable if it's still some 10 years away?

And it still some 10 years away? Geezzz... What's your problem with it anyways? I was happy when I turned 40! Really, truly happy, cos I'd never felt that good in my life before! And it only got better after that to be honest... It's all about how you feel on the inside. Okay, if the outside still looks okay, that helps a lot as well, lol. But really, what's the problem with it?? And why make your life miserable if it's still some 10 years away?  Always loved this quote. I guess in all seriousness, my generation is a little bit scared of living their lives and learning along the way. I say what's more scary is sitting still, collecting a bunch of "what ifs" in a sea of possibilities. |

Geez! I felt my life began at 45! I'm 67 and it's still not over yet! If you want to stay alive, only one way to do it! Face getting older or hang it up now! Your choice dear! Make your life better or don't. It's your choice! Make it great, exciting, and thrilling!

Hmmm....I don't remember much of my 40's, too busy and blink blink blink, I'm 50! Time flies.........

Funny when I was younger 40 always had the meaning of getting old ect... But ya know when I turned 40 they had to really make sure I remembered. Yea the big 40 party and all even had to sit on top of a piano while the guy sung a song or two that well was funny as hell but embarrassing as heck... ohh and the male stripper and a straw in shape of well you know I had to put it on top of my beer bottle to drink out of it.. They thought I would not do it well I fooled them all. I was out to make the best of it all...
 Wild thing about it I might have had a hangover the next morning but I did not look any different and I still felt the same..... We hear all these horror stories about getting older...  Now I'm 56 sure I have the aches and pains I did not have when younger... but I still have the same outlook... life is good...  When you think about it with age does not always come wisdom... That is up to each person what we take in or want to take in...  I say don't worry about how old you will be follow your dreams, and things you would like to do or see.....As you get older age will only be a number.... and you will be happy to know you have made it another year.....  |

Everything will droop or fall off the minute the clock strikes your birth minute. It's just awful! Be prepared.

Hmmmmm...when I was 17 my mom passed away...my friends and I talked about how at least she had a good life..and she was old...she was 53...now I'm 50 and it's like...geez mom was young...hope I make it to at least 80...40 was cake walk...lol...
