Worst jobs ever had.

my last job actually. Security. $60 a night. A night lasts from 5pm to 6am. At the end I was working 6 nights a week. Easy job but nothing is tolerable for 80 hours a week. |

Can't say for certain, but the last movie I laughed really hard at was In Bruges |

Blessing and a Curse
|

Does anyone know how to stem or postpone massive inspiration that comes at the wrong time? I wish I could write this well mid-day... working in 11/8 right now with an absurd amount of ease. Problem is I have to be up fairly early tomorrow and I don't want to quit writing right now! Tips would be appreciated. |

Just wrong!

I actually read a story somewhere about a couple that was out of love and started looking around for people to meet online. As fate would have it, the anonymous partners they met were... each other! Actually, I think I know where that story is... http://www.cracked.com/article_17291_10-divorce-stories-too-strange-make-up.html #5, but the whole article is great |

Orbit Commercial
|

Feel Free to watch the vid but that's not the main point here. There's a commercial where you type in dirty words and get clean ones back. Some of their alternatives are absolutely hilarious. I'm pretty sure if I ever referred to a vagina as a lint trap in public I'd be slapped silly AND not get a date for the rest of my life. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=15404721 |

Offensive song titles

Just google porngrind and goregrind. They're both real genres of music (and for the most part completely retarded). But you'll find MILES of song titles that belong on this list. |

Yes and thanks for the compliment! And come on.. how many sixteen year olds can wear a goatee, lol. |

I can't choose between one and two. Being viewed as attractive and intelligent (or at least interesting) are equally important to me. But I don't care so much about being funny or being PERCEIVED as a good person. |

Would YOU..... Cheat
|
|
To be completely honest, while I would never cheat on a girlfriend, I have slept with a woman that was in a relationship. I'm not proud of it, but she was at least decent enough to come clean about it. I made myself available for chatting or chewing out or whatever, and now I'm friends with both of them because NOTHING in my life makes any damned sense. Glad it turned out the way it did though, could have been a lot worse. |

Is it a bad sign

I've never even heard of something like that. I would start looking for other work, but don't count on being laid off just yet. Still, if absolutely everybody employed is being forced to take a mandatory vacation then it doesn't look good. |

UP comes out today!

Bugs life and Monsters Inc are both great movies, I just don't like them quite as much as the ones up top. The only movie on that list that disappointed me is Cars, and even that I'd give 3.5 out of 5 stars

![]() $60?? You can't even sneeze in this town for $60!! Whether I pay or my date pays (and we do alternate), the average dinner, drinks, and some kind of activity date is roughly $180-250. Most cover charges for clubs range from $20-$50 for VIP. I don't need, or desire, the type of night mentioned above every week, but at least once a month, I have to get my "Vegas" on (even if it's just with the girls or I am 5th wheel with my friends)! With San Fran, LA, and Vegas all within an easy hour's reach, I can't skip rock star nights. ![]() If we just go to the movies, I'd rather stay home, rent it, and cook. I love making Hollywood Teas (like a Long Island Tea) and hanging out in shorts and tank tops all night too. I agree with Lilith that dates don’t have to cost anything. Hiking, biking, wine tasting (nominal), walking the dogs at the lake, etc, is great fun. Pack some food, and we're good to go! If the guy is 'presentable' enough ( ![]() When I want to do something REALLY expensive, I invite and pay. I would never expect anyone that I am not seriously involved with to whisk me off to Cabo for a 4 day weekend or go to an out of state NFL game. If I want to go, and I have the funds for both then I buy and fly! Back to your question: I think anyone should be able to date whether they have a job or not. Unless two people become seriously involved, and as long as the 'said' person is financially independent then it's not the other person's business whether they have a job or not! If the jobless person becomes an albatross ... well ... then send them on their way. ![]() I adore dating and doing extravagant things but I certainly don’t reflect that onto the person I am dating, and I also watch for the red flags if a guy starts to take advantage of me. I am no sugar momma! ![]() ![]() $180-250 dollars!? For one night? I'm not cheap, but seriously, I can take a girl to a theme park or out skiing AND to dinner at a really nice restauraunt for $140 including booze. But then I don't go clubbing so I'm not sure what that tends to cost. Just seems high to me. Dinner - $150 give or take a bottle of wine Club Cover - $40 and that is the low end Drinks at the club - $8-$10 a pop and maybe 4 or 5 each - $80 That is about average for a NICE place (never Olive Garden). ![]() Take this example in the context for which it was given: not the average night out. An average night out for dinner, drinks and pool? $100 and that is for Macaroni Grill or some other lame chain. Where do you live? In Albuquerque you can eat at a really nice restaurant for no more than $25 a person (before alcohol). And I'm not talking about lame chains, I mean really nice upscale restaurants where most everyone is wearing a dinner jacket. (NM is not the kind of place where businesses will require you to wear a suit) |
