right around 130 ish today,i had an earthquake tremor hit here in midstate new york...
no news yet,but it went on for at least 10-15 seconds and Everything was moving. anyone else feel it? |

I miss the smiles that everyone use to give you, in public. I miss the small mom and pop stores and small shops that were there forever. I miss the ice cream truck that blastrd out carnival music on two speakers on its roof,,selling ice cream. and the man doing that in his fresh pressed white shirt and name tag.. I miss the drive-ins movies. I miss 8-track. I miss ten cent phone calls, then twenty five cent phone calls and juke boxes. I miss fifteen cent soda pop,,RC cola. I miss the corner candy store where every piece of gum or candy was one cent,,,so you picked every kind they had for a dollar..all put into one small sack.. I miss mood rings I miss the twenty fice cent carnaval games where if you won something, IT WAS HUGE. I miss empty streets in the day time. I miss the old man with twenty five cent after shave in the restrooms I miss school rooms with only half the seats filled. I miss spankings in school,,One swat for ya or kicked out for one day,lol. I miss all the lives I've lost in living through my own life. Hear Hear !!    and i remember the coke machine you put your change in and opened the little side door and pulled out a real bottle of the Coldest coca cola on earth... |

i think it was entirely provocating..im not sure how many people were actually in his face,i get the impression theres at least 3 maybe 4 involved in the pheriphial vison line.
i think the senator felt squeezed and cornered,and was acting on instinct rather than tact. irregardless of whether im right or wrong,it does make an important point. apparently,and most unfortunately,you and i are the only two people present who realize theres always two sides to a story. |

did any of you actually WATCH the video?
sheesh..how about we look at it from the senators side eyh? who were the two unidentified men who approached the senator and began to badger him? why is it he asked them to identify themselves Numerous times? yet they never identified themselves? note the first reports were two MEN not students. this whole thing stinks of a setup. sole aim,to provide peoples outrage,and subsequent call for blood,just like some of you are doing. and hes coming up for re-election..how convenient timing,for this episode. o,and for the finale..the so called neck grab,watch the damm video..he reels the guy in and puts his arm around him like he wants to keep him close,till he can find out who,and what,they are about. Not life threatening...SHEESH. |

This is the internet.Profiles and pics are never real.Only way is to meet face to face in person. thats not always true..some people are honest,display real pictures,and are same as in rw. second half of sentence,very true..meet as soon as possible. jmo i had to edit this and comment on the way the women responded after atlantis said hed start posting in the sex forum..too funny. |

Hummmmmmmm question is out of all those that viewed you how many did you view back and not leave a message either???  Finally! Someone who said exactly what I wanted to hear!  Yeah I was trolling like a fisherman for this question. I think many women automatically think that by "viewing" a guy's profile, the guy will think that it's a "sign" of attention. Wrong. And why is that? Because if you just "pop in" to view a profile, perhaps some other guys will jump on you, but not me. If you really want something, you better be emailing me or at least send a nudge, since most women say the same that "I want an email and not just a view of my profile". Am I right or wrong? id agree with you..considering thats how i feel too...just because they look doesnt mean anything. its when they actually email that it counts. btw,why are you complaining?...youve got friends here,your topics and people actually answer your posts.? thats more than most of us.well guys anyways..esp me. i wish anyone talked about me like lori talks about you..know what i mean? good luck,at any rate. |

I try to live by an old Mark Twain saying, "If I never lied, I'd never have to remember anything." Which means if it's true then it's memory and you wouldn't have to think about it, unless your like 90 or something. and thats exactly how the cops bust liars..because they give themselves away,when they have to think about their answer,instead of just saying it from memory. well said. |

If teachers beat the crap out of some of these kids a lot more often maybe we wouldn't be having all these discipline problems and kids would actually be able to learn something. while i understand your frustration,umm, err,have you watched the video? its rather f-ked up,to say the least. the teacher was swinging from right field on that kid... def wayyyy out of line..she actually kicks him at least once i saw as well. and that kid is Way smaller than her. also,freeze frame right at the very end...theres a black fella standing there,doesnt look like a kid. look to the right of the girl,see him? i could be wrong,but he looks like an adult. id have to say the parents have a rock solid lawsuit case here. unfortunately for the school. |

i got a copy of the new star trek for my birthday last month,and was quite impressed..... as i am a fan of the original,and the next generation series,i kinda thought this would be a travesty of trek-ism. instead,i found a really good movie. kinda wondering what they will do next. |
