I don't think it is necessary in an absolute way to believe in God. It is good to be open to read about various faiths to see if it either appeals to yourself or not.
I used to be a Christian but now feel better to be an atheist.
It is down to what philosophy helps you the best in life at a personal level.

This states that some in that particular time frame will be alive still when the second coming would take place.

It may help in some way to bet to know newer women but I would not rely on their judgement all the time as it takes your own individual thoughts at the end of the day. Be open minded but don't feel obliged to date if you feel they are not for you.

I was the same like you at high school, it's not a phase as you will find you like the mature ones even when you leave high school even when you are 40.
