Primaries, are primarily 'party specific'.

Congrats on a dem win, in a dem primary.
I guess.

But, since primaries are party specific...
For a dem to win, other dems had to lose.

If there are any republicans or independents running,
there's still a general election to go.

I agree and if you combine the democrats primary win and the almost win they are so proud of they still are gonna have a hard time winning any seats in November. IMFO

Obama saved the economy, after Bush turned it over to him! All trump has done is increase the deficit by 1 1/2 trillion dollars! trump has done nothing, except golf a lot and line his own pockets!
actually the bank bailouts were what " saved" the economy, and those were done by Bush. So the band-aid was already in place when Obama got to Washington . After 8 years our economy should have been roaring back, but under Obama it grew at a snails pace while he grew the deficit more than all the other presidents deficit increase combined. Trump comes along and in less than 2 years has this country and our economy and jobs in better standing than we've been in 30 years, maybe better than that.

not if we have proper rules in place to help do a better job of seperating those of us that have no legitimate reason to not have access to firearms from people that do.
what would you say is a legitimate reason?

slowing down one's ability to commit mass murder isn't really a bad thing, is it?
no, that's a good thing , but your also slowing down someone's way of defending theirselves.

Guns or not, people will still find a way to kill...if only police have guns, then only they can kill faster...

At least seven people have been injured, four seriously, in Paris after a man attacked people with a knife and an iron bar at two separate locations. The attacker is believed to be an Afghan national.

In an initial incident, the attacker wounded three people in front of a cinema in the 19th arrondissement late on Sunday evening. A group of men playing petanque tried to stop him by throwing a heavy iron ball used in the popular French game, according to Le Parisien.

"He had an iron bar in his hand which he threw at the men chasing him, then he took out a knife," a security guard at the cinema recalled after the initial attack.

According to another witness account, a man running with a 25-30cm knife in his hand was pursued by around 20 people. "They started throwing petanque balls at him. Around four or five balls hit him in the head, but they weren't able to stop him," Youssef Najah told AFP.

After running away from the scene of the first attack, the assailant continued on Rue Henri Nogueres, where he wounded two English tourists, who sustained head and chest injuries.

The aggressor, who was also injured, was finally arrested by the Anti-Crime Brigade (BAC) of the police. The suspect is believed to be "an Afghan" national, local media report.

In total, at least seven people were injured by the individual, four of whom have been hospitalized in a serious condition, police said.

While authorities have yet to establish the motive behind the attack, an investigation has been launched into the violent spree. A source close to the probe told Le Parisien that, so far, there was no basis on which to call the incident a terrorist attack
it looks as if political correctness strikes again, as our former pres. Said the other day. Why is it so hard to say nazi or in this case terrorist .it doesn't matter what weapons are not available what matters is the frame of mind of the person, and if their hellbent on killing they'll find a " weapon" remember the first was a rock. So not allowing guns for individuals will not stop someone determined to kill

okay.

I care about how consistent people are in their claims. I remember Obama going through the ropes for being at a church, with someone perceived to be racist (long before his presidency) or having worked on a board where there was also a person found decades before to be involved with domestic terrorism(which also happened when he was a child)

but current POTUS RIGHT NOW is surrounded by people being brought up on indictments, and people refuse to "see' any corruption or problem there, unless it is the 'fake news' or those doing the investigation, because like I said, the establishment is known for taking out vendettas against rich white men.

just odd.
you gave me a good laugh with this post msharmony, lol. So when Obama is in a church where a preacher makes racial statements about the white race, and the terrorist that held Obamas first fund raiser for president . Weather underground. All that just a coincidence . But people dealing with trump at worst so far is lying to the political prosecutor Mueller is evidence of corruption and collusion. Yea , take that to a fair jury and your laughed out of the courthouse.

Here's what a tariff does: it makes the thing it's attached to, more expensive in the country applying the tariff.

It doesn't do anything else at all.

That's why they don't get used more than they do, and why the results when they are used, aren't always what people hope for.

If the reason why an American company is having it's products made overseas is because the American buyers can't afford them otherwise, putting a tariff on the overseas-made product won't cause it to be made here. Because the change in PRICE, doesn't cause a change in the CUSTOMER PURCHASING POWER.

Putting a tariff on raw materials doesn't always do what we might like, either. As with the finished product tariffs, a raw materials tariff causes the products made from those materials to cost more to sell here. If the market here won't tolerate a price rise, a tariff such as that will cause an end to local manufacture, rather than causing local raw materials to become more marketable.
let me tell you what else it does. If We want to sell whatever, let's say dairy products to canada and they put a 100% tariff on it that means we pay double the value of the dairy to have the right to sell in canada. So when we raise the tariff on any product that Canada wants to sell in our country , than the theory is they might lower the tariff on our dairy so they won't have to pay the higher tariff on that product they want to sell in our country. It's called negotiating . Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't . It seems to have worked with euro. union. I think there working on a deal where their may be no tariffs on some products. That would be a good deal for consumers. Don't you agree. At least that's how I understand tariffs work.

Excellent. You are elaborating on my point, though I don't think you realize it.

What you are talking about, is what people hope to ACCOMPLISH by using tariffs; in the case of Europe, by more or less harassing them into making changes in their own policies. Similarly, the hope behind raising tariffs on raw materials, can be in order to help home country raw material companies (miners and the like) make more money, and expand.

The thing is, the tariff itself, doesn't do any of that. That's the important point I'm trying to make. The tariff JUST adds cost to imports. If people here respond to the higher cost of imports by buying more expensive American made products instead, then Americans can benefit from that greater economic growth.

But you can't count on a simple result. In the case of the aluminum and steel tariffs, for example, one American manufacturing company has already gone out of business, because the only way to compete with the finished steel products being shipped here from elsewhere, was to use cheaper imported steel. There are no tariffs on the finished goods involved, just the raw materials, so the result of the tariffs in that case, was fewer manufacturing jobs in the US.

That's the thing to think about when tariffs are proposed: they are similar to a sledge hammer, in a way. They JUST pound the prices up. Just as a sledge hammer can only pound things (it has no claw on the other end to pull nails out), a tariff JUST increases costs. When JUST increasing costs is what you need to do, it's the right tool. But you can NOT count on tariffs to make it possible for Americans to buy MORE of anything, homegrown or not, because tariffs do NOT cause wages or other income to rise in the customer classes.

it sounds like you are making my point but in a very confusing explanation . The point of negotiations is to make a better deal for the the negotiator. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. But you have to try for a better deal. Only a fool would keep paying ransom w/out trying to make it fair.

Yup, TDS is running rampant in here. I suspect that ether Bruce,or Nellie Ohr is going to roll over on somebody. Since a grand jury has been called on Andrew McCabe, Bruce Ohr can be pulled into that. Lie to them, and Ohr could be facing real time for that.

The screws are getting tightened. They aren't chasing side charges like tax evasion, or who paid what to where. This is lying to the FBI, like Popadopolis did. According to Wikipedia, he had dirt on hillary. Might be why he got off easy. He did co-operate with mueller.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Papadopoulos

Those redacted files that congress wants the un-redacted versions of, may turn up something. I won't hold my breath on those, since others were, and they amounted to not much.
With Trump being such a sleazy and deceitful person in the democrats minds you got to wonder why Trump doesn't just order the release of the documents and sink the mueller investigation. It would be a easy thing to do, but I think he knows what damage it would cause among the elitists and the outrage it would bring. Kind of a class act by Trump if that's the case. This doesn't sound like a man rid w/ guilt.

It shows me how incredibly gullible these libs are.

I could never quite get what the heck the German people saw in Hitler. It was the Jews that had the line on him. Since he hated the jews anyway, it just gave him another reason to exterminate them.

Start looking at the libs in the same way as the nazi's, and you start seeing the commonality in the two groups. The MSM is indoctrinating these people. Given the chance, I believe they would do away with any conservative media.

These breakaway groups have got it right. They are seeing the screwed up mess called the socialist dems, and they want no part of it.
very true red rider, and now it seems they have recruited the social media sites to control the info that is put out there. Altogether they are one hell of a propaganda machine. We need a huge turn out on Election Day or a lot of the great things Trump has done will be reversed .

recently a new in-depth documentary called 'active measures' by jack bryan has been released whose subject is the comprehensive analysis of the connection between donald trump and the russians, and their interference into our 2016 election.

it is so in-depth,and has such great credibility that it cites more than 200 reliable sources, and traces the connection back several decades, back to 1984,when donald trump sold five trump tower condos to russian mobster david bogdan to give this investigation the proper context that is needed to understand what has been happening.

basically, what has been happening is that the crooked russian government officials, including vladimir putin,as well as the russian oligarchs who have gotteen tremendously wealthy from skimming money from both government, and private corporations in russia, and the russian mob have been laundering, and legitimizing their money, and converting it from highly unpredictable russian rubles into more stable u.s. dollars by purchasing american real estate with the help of private brokers.

since these transactions are basically cash purchases, being handled by private brokers, instead of being handled by banks, which are required to report certain things to the government, there is absolutley no oversight into these dealings, and there is even a specially worded legal clause in the "patriot act" that allows 'real estate transactions' to slip through a loophole, and be free from government oversight, which makes real estate purchases a perfect tool for foreign investors to use to launder money with.

donald trump has been involved in real estate transactions with the russians since his first sale to the russian mob in 1984,and has continued to have ties to them through real estate transactions ever since, which is the source of a great deal of his wealth.

this also explains why he has been so relunctant to release his tax returns,as they will almost certainly reveal that he has been receiving a great amount of income from people connected to the russian government, the russian oligarchs, and the russian mob, which are ALL basically the same thing, since the russian mob is controlled by the russian government, which is made up with the russian oligarchs, and gives us insight as to some of the leverage that the russians have against donald trump.

this documentary also gives in depth analysis of the russian interference into our 2016 election, and the methods that they used to do it.

here are some links that partially explains some of these details...

https://movieweb.com/active-measures-movie-review/

https://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/active-measures-2018

https://www.theguardian.com/film/2018/aug/31/active-measures-film-documentary-russia-trump

and the entire documentary "ACTIVE MEASURES" can currently be viewed in its entirety on HULU.

while i am sure that there will be some trump supporters who find the content of this documentary very hard to swallow, and they will try to deny what this documentary reveals to us,they will be unable to rationally deny the over abundance of indisputable facts that are revealed in it.
was this another Al Gore or Micheal Moore documentary ? If it's on film for everyone to see and still no charges, and with such incriminating evidence as " partially explain" some dealings. Guess what ? Trump wasn't president in 1984 and since when is it illegal to sell real estate to a Russian crook. Keep digging cause you still haven't found anything that incriminates him. Being successful and sly while making a boatload of money is not a crime

It's going to be entertaining when Trump is impeached.

to be sure, friend. there will more entertainment.

i fear, however, a possible scenario where Trump employs a scorched-earth defense on his way out

i also fear a Pence/Mother administration
Tell me what GP cooperated on. Do you mean like all the others that so called "cooperated". So many snitches and still no evidence. And after how long 15 months. Mueller is a political hack, and not much of a prosecutor . He reminds me of the Durham prosecutor that tried to convict the Duke Rugby Team for allegedly raping a young lady at a campus party.he had a good idea these boys were not guilty but he wanted to make a name for himself. This guy no longer practices law. He should have pulled time.

And were supposed to believe a russian supporting trump backer like you . Dont forget that if they do investigate internaly at the FBI . A lot of information re:trump will surface and made public that will expose him for what he realy is . Good luck with that rofl
Trump or I have nothing to hide, so bring it on. And for your info. Obama is the one who suggested he could be pursuaded by Putin after he was re-elected , not trump. Trump actually has been a bigger thorn in the side of Putin w/ many more sanctions put on Russia that Obama ever thought of. No support of Russia here. How about another reset button. Lol. How naive can one be .

The percentage of voters who want to impeach Trump is almost the same as the portion who wanted to impeach Nixon

In part,

The survey found that 42 percent of Americans today think Trump should be impeached, compared with the 43 percent who backed Nixon’s impeachment in March 1974. (When broken down by party, the support for impeachment is quite skewed, however. Seventy-seven percent of Democrats say Trump should be impeached, while just 9 percent of Republicans do.)

From here,

http://www.vox.com/2018/6/22/17492450/poll-trump-impeachment-nixon-watergate

http://www.cnn.com/2018/06/22/politics/impeach-trump-nixon-support-bill-clinton-poll/index.html

so I guess that means 58% don't want him impeached. Seems like the impeach crowd are out numbered. So where do you go now. Impeachment of Donald Trump will never happen. Hopefully when the republicans win greater controll of congress than we can start a process of cleaning the corrupt officials out of our government and provide a clear path for the president to do his thing and make this country stronger and better than ever.

With the lies and cover-ups generated by the crooked Obama justice dept. piling up it's just a matter of time before the indictments start appearing for these future felons. There's already a investigation into suspected criminal activity commited by Andrew McCabe . More than Likly there will be an indictment against him . Then the rats will start fleeing for the hills and turning on each other. When that day comes than we can all breathe a sigh of relief that we can take our country back from the hands of ill willed democrats. This will happen because Trump is making this country great again after a 8 year hiatus

Through all the fog and haze of the false accusations , the division , the denials, the smugness , the blatant ignorance and the embarrassing immature way the democrats continue to conduct their lives are only pumping up the fever pitch of their TDS( trump derangement syndrome). With the community activist ( Obama) claiming false success during his term. This economic success is all of Trumps doing. Obama had nothing to do w / lowest unemployment for blacks and Latinos. Nothing to do w / jobs coming back to the US. Nothing to do w / record highs in stock market. The voters in 2016 saw how bad the democrats were for the future success of our country and voted to stop the moronic direction they had us going . So when I see Obama telling his lie I have to wonder after all the scandals and mid-steps and decieteful cover-ups, does he really think he's helping his cause. Keep trying to fool the voters and watch the destruction of your party. It's sad people of such power can be so wrong. But it's very entertaining to see these clowns keep doing and saying the same old , same old. Spin it any way you want but the American people are not falling for your false narritive. Lol, I can't wait till November just to see TDS victims blow up!

President Trump isn't going anywhere, no matter what you paranoid , mindless dolts throw at him. He has done so much good for this country that the law abiding and America loving people will NOT let you soulless democrats fulfill your unpatriotic agenda by spreading your filth and lies to remove a successful president just because he makes the last president look like a joke( albeit a bad one). With Obama on the stump bosting of himself on the Trump economy , he's sure to get the republicans to the poll for a victory in November.

why all the misdirection? Was the question not posed about why BLM isnt addressing blacks killing blacks?
of himself for Trumps economy.

Again with the name calling? And stating he has done "so much good for this country" is a hollow opinion. Prove what he has done.

Then you try to change the subject with BLM? WHERE did THAT come into the conversation about the 25th Amendment? HOW is that even close to being relevant? My god, you are arguing like the president now, rambling and grasping for anything.

Oh, and I will tell you AGAIN, you assume I am a Democrat. You are WRONG.

I will agree with you that "President Trump isn't going anywhere", because he just goes around in circles, blaming Obama, blaming this, blaming that, while nothing is getting done. N Korea denuked yet? Nope. Mexico paid for that wall? Nope. All of Obama's unconstitutional EOs rolled back? Well, yes, because it comes to pass, there weren't any. The list goes on, he is a fraud, and his followers are too scared to admit as much.

I don't know if Trump will finish out his term. It just seems that there are Republicans now that are examining ways to get him gone... Like I say, I heard it on Fox News, so it MUST be true.

I don't know where that BLM crap came from. I did not text anything about BLM . Some how the quote area bleed into that quote . ??? Sorry about that! But if you want proff of trumps success just look at the Econ. Numbers. Surly you can't argue w/ that.

The 20 amendment is the one dealing w/ temporary pres. power. Ratified in 1933.
The 20th deals with circumstances around the DEATH of a president.

The 25th is, as I stated correctly, pertains to when the transfer of powers when the President is incapacitated (ie surgery), or when deemed by a body of congress as unable to do the job.

Thanks for playing.
incapable that means any thing that makes him unable to do his job. It takes 2/3 of both houses of congress to remove the president. The majority of his cabinet including the VP can only start the process . They Do Not have the power to remove him. Just as I stated correctly.

You are arguing apples and oranges, and then when you are corrected, you result to name calling.

And you ***-u-me I am a Democrat? Wrong again! Thanks for playing!
where is the name calling? Making things up doesn't steer people to your side. We know the game being played by liberal dems. And our refusing to follow your rules and play your game is pis* ing off the democrats and making them so volatile that they are hurting their chances in the November election.
