 It was already a long week and it was brightening.....when someone delivered an after hours message from an outraged parent who didn't get a phone call from me about her son's (14 YEARS OLD) minor injury. She was in the long run protecting her ass, because her boy might show a bruise later, and she lives in a rent controlled area where "someone" might see a bruise and turn her over to Child Protective Services.... I consulted with V.P. and he concurred everything that needed to be done was. BEST THING AS SHE SLAMMED PHONE WAS TO SAY SHE WOULD BE AT THE SCHOOL TOMORROW!!!! Thats Saturday, and I won't be here....nor even Monday which is a Holiday!!! LET HER COME, LET HER COME, LET HER COME  As a father of 4 daughters, I got the call a little different. "Dad I got my period and I'm out of pads". I would have preferred they had ditched  Yeah, I got through that stage, now have 4 grandchildren and 3 of them are boys  now you only have fun with them - no school calls! |

I was supposed to go out tonight, but with the road like they are I’m parking my butt right here. other then that im fine, I think better to stay in and be safe! |

Only good thing about teaching music at my low income school is I hardly ever see any :o) by the way I obviously am not talking about my friends on here who are good parents

good evening all, the weather sucks, the roads are slick and I had the day from HELL Now that im done venting I am damn glad to be here.. well maybe thats over doing it Im here and we're glad you have arrived safely :o) what is your first name? i still don't know everyone.  of course - need someone - its black Friday....ya know...Valentine's Eve AND Friday the 13th :o) the correct answer was NO, god forbid anything would go right today BTW My name is Tim Hey Tim - how are you? |

Hi dhw. Yea long week for me too. It's always tough when you have to deal with full moon. I don't even need to look up in the sky to know when it's full moon. So do you get Monday off? yes!! You can just feel the tension in the school building as we approach the dreaded FCAT test |

Hey friends! Just stopping in to say a quick hello. Have to download a CD for my kids before I hit the hay. Thanks all that have been writing me and thinking of me and praying for me regarding the pain issue. The meds have helped today so that at least I could take care of my responsibilities. Tomorrow will be a long one though. Sorry that happened Poly!! thanks flame girl! |
