Who do you think speaks for the workers in this country, Trump, Fox news, Wall street?
They spoke loud and clear in Detroit....hows that worked out? Those at the top of the union don't give two $hits about their workers. As JOHNN said, they only care about their dues.
Like big government, unions dole out just enough "free stuff" to keep their members happy....then laugh at their dumbazzes on the way to the bank. Frick a union.

my first thought is emotional,, how dare they

then, my second thought is whether the family was consulted,, whether they were desperate to bring their child home for burial enough to trade off him being in jail until he is 73 (with the average lifespan in america only around 85 years , and the life span of an accused molestor in prison much less) or whether they would rather never have their kid and just have him killed or die 'naturally'(possibly before twenty years) in jail

the family is important too,, and my best hope is this was done in consideration of all possibilities and justice for the family
Yes the family was consulted....

Still doesn't make it right.....
Seemed to be right enough in the parents eyes. They wanted their son home, they got it....which wouldn't have happened without the plea deal. And the killer gets what will amount to a life sentence more than likely. Plea deals happen everyday. An old case was solved and left those closest to the victim satisfied.

They clearly had some evidence, enough for a search warrant to toss this guys house. That's how they found the child porn.
They CLEARLY had no evidence pointing to where the child was buried. And they weren't going to find that out without the plea deal. Why can't you get that?

I've found Twitter to be great for following local news sites, and weather and sports accts that I'm interested in.
It's also useful during natural disasters, breaking news, etc....other than those, it's just another online outlet that gives any morons another voice.

Im married to a guy, have a kid. But im secretly bi. I still want to date a woman. I don't know what's happening to me. Especially when hubby is in another country, I'm alone with my kid. I yearn for physical intimacy and yet... argh... anybody feeling the same way? I want a gf... never had one... always yearning for a female partner
Tell your husband...if he's ok with it get a gf. If he's not, and it's still important to you, get a divorce and then get a gf... easy peasy.

Week 2 of the College Football season looks....well, weak.

The two games I'll be most interested in...

Arkansas at TCU

VA TECH vs Tennessee at Bristol Motor Speedway. The venue may be bigger than the game though, since both teams struggled in week one.

On a side note, the pros kick off Thursday with a a Superbowl rematch, sans Peyton.
And it looks like I'll be digging out by brown paper bag for my Saints season laugh

Football side note...my high school alma mater, The West Monroe Rebels take on USA TODAYS no. 12 ranked team in the nation, the John Curtis Patriots, in the Battle of the Border high school showcase this weekend at Independence Stadium in Shreveport.

Sexual websites garnered the lowest percentage of people reporting they would always be honest, at just 16%.
Oh I bet I can guess what the biggest, or rather, littlest, lie was laugh

Seriously though...a study is needed to explain that folks lie on the internet? El Oh El!
