I dont drink, so I dont have to worry about that, but 1 should be enough on the first date.

Depends on whether she wants to or not. Also depends on the date. Sometimes I will ask a woman to go out for a "drink".

Sore subject with me. I've been kinda dating someone who drinks more than I like to see. I enjoy drinks on a date but not to excess. It's such a turnoff to see someone start slurring and stumbling. It's downright ugly to me.

first date always coffee at starbucks I want to know if I want to see that person second time so drink as much coffee as you wish

If it's during a dinner, one. Depend's on what we're doing at the time.. local pub.. 1-2, no more than 3 (which also depends on how well the date is going and how long we are there)

I rarely drink more than one anyway...so guess it would be ok...maybe even calm my nerves a little.

Nothing wrong drinking on a date but...know your limit don't act like a fool. Normally a couple is plenty while having snacks or dinner.
Besides one don't want to present themselves in a bad way. Myself I go for the Ice Tea on the first date I want my mind clear. I don't need liquor to have a good time.

I embarrass myself enough sober, add alcohol and well let's just say I can pretty much kiss a second date goodbye, lol

Yes, 2 or 3. Unless the date is lets get drunk.

don't get sloshed. other than that it's totally what feels right. if you would normally have 3 hanging out with someone you're comfortable with... have 3. what's the point of changing your comfort level from the get go? if you're uptight about something the other person will probably pick up on that.
