Shawshank redemption This is my favorite too. I've seen it so many times, but it is just a movie that I can watch over, and over, and over again. Best scene is when Tim Robbins plays the Italian opera record over the loudspeakers. And then all the inmates, these hardasses...all freeze in their tracks and listen to it. Talk about a scene that says so much with so little. Right behind that is Die Hard...which I believe is THE best action flick ever made.
