Yes I would call them on it. I get tired of people not being accountable for thier actions.
I probably couldn't hang out w/a perpetual liar-Would drive me crazzzzyy! LOL

Yes I would.

I would do it privately, not in public.

I'm pretty sure that you met my ex also!!!!
Yes I did call him on it numerous times and he always acted offended that I didn't believe him-so I ended up feeling guilty!
He only once came out and admitted that he lied and I nearly passed out!

I wouldn't call them out right off the bat, as that's just no fun. I actually prefer stringing people with their little lies and stuff to see how badly they hang themselves in the end. The second they end up not keeping their story straight, I start asking them about the "facts" they initially gave out. Sooner or later, they're gonna crack which either one of two results-

- they'll either come clean

or

- they'll start up with all sorts of drama in their trying to defend themselves.

That's usually my course of action also... i'll give 'em enough rope to hang themselves with...I LOVE THAT....

Ok so I know I am probably going to get sh!t for this but here goes. I've come to realize that guys tend to .. oh whats the word over-exaggerate, just a tad at times. I let these small little white lies go because it will only hurt thier man pride if you call them out on every single little embelishment. Just let them think you believe them when they claim to drink 30 beers when you know it was probably more like 12. I'm not saying all guys do this but enough of you do that I have come to accept it and even find it slightly endearing. (We know you guys want to impress us, it's cute really)

Yeah you would have to call them out on it. But the greater reality is that we (as humans) are offended when people lie to us and don't get it whn they get mad when we lie.glasses It seems to be in the inherent nature of humans to lie. To one degree each of us are guilty...so he who s without sin cast the first stoneglasses

Did this with my brother about 2 1/2 yrs ago. He was, I believe a pathological liar. We wound-up not speaking to each other for 6 months. The next time I saw him he was in the hospital, and I didn't recognise him. The Chemo had kicked his butt pretty hard. He passed 6 months later. At his funeral we heard some tall tales that he had told his in laws.

Absolutely... to KNOW someone lied, and to do nothing is to become equally as deceptive as the person who lied, through your inactions.

what kind of woman would find a guy drinking 30 beers impressive? If some guy told me that I would think he was a drunken loser and kick him to the curb.
