There are a LOT of girls who don't like abs. So many girls like a variety of things, average, toned, etc.
Askmen and FHM magazine took polls on abs. Something like 90% of girls like an athletic build like beckham and ryan reynolds over a bodybuilder physique. And like 97% of girls found vascularity to be 'gross'. This is a very intriguing subject to me, as I am on my way of achiving a defined 6 pack. So, after asking a few girls what they think of a defined 6 pack, the general answer was "they are great to look at, but I have no interest in anything beyond that". Personally, this is not going to stop my goal, even if only 10% of women might be interested in me, as working out is something that I really enjoy. But, it would still be nice to hear more feed back by some of the ladies on this site..... |

If someone really cares about you, your abs will be the least of their concerns.

Vascularity is gross, they deplete all the water in their systems so show extreme vains... Um not sexy...
Abs are sexy.. I had a discussion this weekend and my friend said to me "I like to look at a totally hot body, but don't want a guy like that b/c I will constantly feel fat"... I completely understood what she meant and I used to date body builders... I think we've come to a new plateau where toned is good vascular is not what the females are looking for... jmho |

I love a good six-pack. 12 packs are better, though. They generally last longer, and that's about enough when you're hanging out with friends for a nice, entire Saturday night. =)

If you enjoy perfecting your body, then go for it. But, do so for your own desire. Because when someone truly loves you, your abs will be one of their least concerns.

i don't care how they look it is how they treat you...I find that the more good looking and healthy a person is the more self centered and arrogant they are. It is hard to bust through a guy who is stuck on himself and expects a woman to starve herself to be as good looking as he is. Age happens...illness happens...an accident happens....depression happens...
do we throw away a person because of how they look? can we encourage a person to be the best They can be? I hope so....if we can look deeper into a person then they automatically become all that is attractive inside and out. no need to be only beautifull on the serface |

I never have had six pack abs, and quite frankly, I don't have the desire to get them. Chicks either like me for me or don't.
