chatted with a lovely gal, and things went very well. i have bin very stressed of late, and had bin drinkin, not that i do this eveyday. we had sorta mentioned meetin at a local pub, but job called for longer shift. i forgot to call her , even then i didnt have her cell number with me.when i got home ,this is when i realized that i had forgot when i checked messages.!!!!! i know i will take alotta heat from the gals on here but man i feel so ****ty, but she is gonna let it slide and gimme a chance to make it up. i guess what im tryin to say is would you gals gimme another shot or shoot me.!!!  Oh Hawwwwwwwwwwk!!!!! I'm glad she is giving you a chance to redeem yourself  ...yeah... I probably woulda too ... Don't make a habit of that though ... the lady deserves the best of you

You FORGOT about another human being! How important could she possibly  be to you if you FORGOT about her completely? People forget about other people everyday Hearts get broken everyday too We make mistakes , it is HUMAN Are you kidding? "people forget about other people everyday?" ...since when? I'm not sure how it works for you BUT people of genuine "importance" are NEVER forgotten. Since people get caught up in Life It does happen Don't tell me it never happened to you? I think it's fair to say, that most of us have jobs where once we get started, it is our main focus. I know I do. Once I get into it, it's all I'm focused on. And I myself have gotten so bad with forgetting things, that not only do I write myself a note, but I put a piece of tape on my finger reminding me that I left myself a note to remind of what I needed to do. And even sometimes that doesn't work.
And it's nice to know that there are people out there that understand this, and understand that our lives, no matter how hard we try to stay focused, can become chaotic at any point in time. |

Great post Mscarmen, it's the people who find themselves self important that think that they deserve full and total undivided attention. Is that the kind of person you want to date anyways? I thought only "nice" guys and "nice" girls dated those people....

People will usually understand, if you just ADMIT the mistake. Just don't do it on a regular basis. When you make it up, go a little above board & do something kind of special; flowers, little bit better dinner, just some small thing; to let her know you mean it. |
