from here or any other site like this, do you usually meet quickly? As in that day or the next? Or, do you chat a bit, then decide if you want to meet? I'm just curious, because the local guys I receive emails from are in such a rush to meet. Almost all of them are the same. I see no harm in waiting a week or two in order to chat a bit first. Most local guys seem to think differently, though.

There was one time I met someone the day after we talked....actually....wait...2 times. I wish I would've talked a long time before we met...I would've gotten to know their real side. I like talking for a while before I meet someone now. Let's me know who I'm going to see....

i think they like to meet to be sure its the person they are chatting with. depending on schedules a week should be more than enough.just think if you met them some other way besides the internet how would you handle it.

There is no harm in waiting until you are comfortable with a meet. You are not being mean, as you are still communicating, take your time until you think the time is right.

Nope, I'm in no rush here. I had a woman give me her number in her introduction letter, I wrote her back telling her I wasn't even ready to talk on the phone. I mean how can I want to call someone I haven't even chatted with in a thread, let alone through email.
Nope, I'm a little too parinoid I guess. Besides, I'd feel a lot more comfortable if I already know the woman I'm meeting is going to be at ease with me anyway. |

Nope, I'm in no rush here. I had a woman give me her number in her introduction letter, I wrote her back telling her I wasn't even ready to talk on the phone. I mean how can I want to call someone I haven't even chatted with in a thread, let alone through email. Nope, I'm a little too parinoid I guess. Besides, I'd feel a lot more comfortable if I already know the woman I'm meeting is going to be at ease with me anyway. Yeah, a guy emailed me today (from a different site) and gave me his number in the second email because he said he didn't like sending emails back and forth and didn't have time for it. Then proceeded to have a fit because I was moving too slow.
